Kindly Tips: If the device switches off after a brief runtime:

Check whether the water temperature is too high.The device might have overheated due to a too high water temperature and the thermal protection circuit is activated.Check the power connection.

Check the power cable and mains plug for damages.

Check the on-site fusing.

Check whether the hoses are blocked and whether the water contains any suspended matter with a particle size of more than 1 mm,which could clog up the device.The device might have overheated due to the blockage and the thermal protection circuit is activated.

Kindly Tips: If the device is running, but not pumping any water

Check the inside of the device for any remaining air. To do so, lower the device into the water at a slight angle and wait for the entire air to escape.

Check whether the minimum water level has been reached, see technical data. In order to start pumping, the device requires a minimum water level.

Check whether the hoses are blocked and whether the water contains any suspended matter with a particle size of more than 1mm,which could clog up the device.Check whether the used hose diameter is too small.

Check whether the hose line is kinked or blocked.Remove kinks and / or blockages.Check reducer and/or outlet for blockages.

Notice

Wait for at least 3 minutes after maintenance and repair work.Only then switch the device back on.

WOW! It is dangerous. The float switch exploded in my face. The water was warm, but not hot or beyond operating temperatures. Pump ran for 30 mins. I swapped the water during a tankless water heater descaling. Pump would not turn back on. I tipped it as directed, but no operation. When I was moving the float up and down to trigger a restart, it exploded in my hand. My ears were ringing, vinegar splattered all over me burning skin, luckily I was wearing glasses. Wow! I have never heard of this, but the plastic exploded into flying bits.

After about a week the pump stopped working. When checked, the pump would not turn when the float was elevated. The motor hummed but didn’t turn.

First pump worked for about 20 minutes then shut off and dosnt work anymore. Going to try a second one see if that works any better.

I needed to drain half my 15000 gallon pool due to high salt level.The options for hose hooks up are ok , but I needed to get 1 1/4 female threaded to straight pipe fitting, glued on a 6” section of pvc pipe and 2 SS clamps with my back wash hose and was off to the races.This little pump is fast. Had a 1000 gallon spa drained in about 15 minutes.I would recommend it.

After a few times running the pump trips the gfi even when not running.Returned the first, tried a second pump. It tripped the gfi after first two minutes running. Now trips gfi as soon as plugged in. Returned and bought different pump.
