Ordered 4/17/25, malfunctioned on 5/25/25. The pump runs continuously and I cannot get it to stop. Yes, it has a check valve. I have another one for redundancy and it works fine with a check valve. I expected it to last longer. Not sure if this was a one off problem, but it’s a problem for me.

It doesn't have a whole lot of gumption, but the sensor seems to trigger reliably and it worked well enough for my use.

I thought it would fit perfectly where my water heater meets the tray. Its little too big so I wasnt able to test out the unit. It came with the hose and instructions.

I have two dehumidifiers; one with a built in pump, and one that requires dumping the tank twice a day. Needless to say, I got tired of dumping the tank. I installed this pump and sensor in the tank, and ran the wires and hose out the back (there was a hole there already). The supplied drain hose is pretty short, so I got a length of longer (and less kink resistant) hose that I ran from the room being dehumidified to the nearest bathroom sink. It has been working great, is quiet, and easily pumps water through the additional length of hose and up about 2 1/2 feet to the sink.

There are a lot of options to choose from when it comes to small form submersible water pumps for fish tanks and fountains, but this option from brand CSRBUY has a few features that make it a substantial value over others.First, it has a built in water level sensor and LED indicators, which are likely obvious and certainly necessary feature, along with the ability to self-drain. But what I really liked most was that it comes with a tube and the pump itself is powerful enough that it can send water as high as 5.5 feet of lift, which was exactly what I needed for use when trying to repair a lovely angel water fountain that belongs to my Grams. The old pump had broken in her fountain, and she had tried several times to get it repaired, but finally gave up, thinking she would never see water spouting from it again. This pump can be used with a wide list of possibilities, from HVAC dehumidifiers to ice makers to fish tanks to air conditioners, whatever you can rig it to really, but I was able to use this water pup as a perfect fit and match with my Grams lovely old water fountain and give her some true happiness to see it shoot up and pour water through and down and into the pond at the bottom again. That is priceless to me, but I give this pump a full 5 stars.

I have a dehumidifier in my crawlspace which drains into a plastic bucket, which I've been dumping out every few days. I wanted to automate the process, so I got a sump pump, but it would occasionally trip the GFCI outlet and the water sensor wouldn't trigger reliably with the water from the dehumidifier. When it did work, it would drain the bucket very quickly, but it seemed like overkill for my needs. When I found this pump, I was worried that it would be too small for the task, but it has ended up working perfectly. The pump is tiny -- smaller than a tennis ball -- but only takes a few minutes to drain the bucket. The water sensor seems to be at the top of the pump, so it only turns on when completely submerged, but since the pump is only about two inches high, that means that there will only be at most two inches of water in the bucket, which is good enough for my needs. The pump can only force water up to a maximum of 5.5 feet, but there are only about four vertical feet from the bottom of the bucket to the drain hole, so again, it works perfectly for my needs. The power cord is quite long. I didn't measure it, but it looks to be 10 to 12 feet long, and is long enough to reach the nearest outlet. The included tubing is a little over 6 feet long.

I have a shallow pan under my HVAC that overflows due to condensation. I thought getting this little condensate pump would solve the problem, but it takes just as much water (almost enough to submerge the entire thing, not just the sensor) as my sump pump requires before IT turns on!I was disappointed in this. It does work, however. It doesn't work how I wanted and expected it to, but it does work. So I'm giving it three stars. Also, it was a lot smaller than I expected and STILL it requires the water level to be too deep before it'll turn on.

I am using this to drain condensate, but the water level required to start this pump is quite deep. The pan I use is wide to promote evaporation, which is at odds with using this pump to draw it down. Flow rate is adequate for this role, as the coils don't generate nearly as much water as this can move. But I will have to reconsider how this is utilized to make effective use of it. The water needing to be 2" deep before it will start pumping is the only issue I have with it.

This is a versatile and powerful little pump. I could see it being used in a dehumidifier to automatically empty itself. It turns on automatically when the water reaches a specific level and turns off when the water level drops below a slightly lower level. This is good as it allows some water to build up so there is enough to pump it away.I tested it to see if it would work with my use case and I am very confident it will. The use case I am planning is a hydroponic setup that I don't need the water to flow constantly. I set it up with a timer and when the timer turns on, hourly, it pumps the water and nutrients until the reservoir is empty. Instead of running continuously it turns off and waits for the reservoir to fill again. I have set it to run every 3 hours for 30 minutes at a time. So far it has been working well. The pump is powerful enough to lift water 6 feet. It is rated for 5.5 feet, but I was able to get it to pump higher than that.If you need a small, but mighty, pump then this one will serve you well. I highly recommend it!
