Absolutely fantastic for the price! This survival kit comes so packed to the brim for it's size, that I was impressed it even fit inside of the hard plastic casing to begin with. It has almost every single thing that you would need for an emergency kit, camping, hiking, or even a precautionary survival kit to have in the car. As you can see by the provided images, not only is it already in a hard case, everything inside of the case is surrounded by a foam layer, AND most of it is further packaged or protected.I would make sure you sharpen the knife that comes with it, but even then, it is still fully usable, you have a second knife attached to your spork as well. You have nearly everything from fire starters, fishing line+weights+lures, compass, window breaker, pen, flashlight (comes pre-loaded with batteries), emergency whistle attached to your spork's knife, screwdriver and flatheads, paracord and so much more. This is perfect for yourself or a gift.

This is a pretty complete emergency kit that comes in a durable case that easily fits in a backpack or glove compartment.Like others have mentioned, once you take everything out, you'll be hard pressed to fit everything back in.I ran the knife through a sharpener and it took a decent edge that would be good enough to be a backup to my EDC.

There are a lot of things jam packed in this little case. There are things to go fishing gear (line, swivels, hooks, floats and bait, and weights), a water bottle clip, wire saw, flashlight (batteries not included), compass (not the greatest quality, but it'll do), survival bracelet, fire starter with little fiber tinder, emergency blanket, multi-functional pocket card (screwdriver, knife, serrated, position wrench, Allen key, etc), Tactical knife, spork, keychain screwdrivers, and tactical pen. That is a lot of things packed in such a small box. I wish the box was just a bit bigger, with compartments to organize and hold all the things in place, as well as make the box waterproof. I wanted to add a small first aid kit (bandaids, cleaning wipes, ointment, allergy meds, pain relief, bug bit wipes, etc), but the box can't even hold it's own things without fighting to get them box closed. I am thinking of getting another one of these boxes for my husbands truck and maybe a third box to keep with the hunting/camping supplies. I think I will invest in a bigger, waterproof box, but for the price and all the things included in this box, it is well work the price. The only other things to possibly include would be something like rubber gloves, collapsible water container (in case you find yourself in a situation where you don't have a bottle), and put it in a metal box, so if need be...you can use it to boil water or cook food. This might make the kit a little heavier, but it'll make a huge difference in a true survival situation.

This survival set has all your basic survival tools in one compact set, making it easy to keep in your backpack, car, camper, etc.The set includes a nice pocket style knife that's sharp, easy to open/close, and can be used a variety of ways. It seems sturdy and durable and has a good size blade for most basic survival needs. The kit also includes a paracord that clips and has a small compass attached. The paracord can be worn like a bracelet or attached to your backpack or other gear. There is also a larger, gold compass that is easy to use while plotting points on the map. This kit also has an emergency blanket, fire starters, ferro rod, screw drivers, rope saw, fishing line and lure, and more.Everything in this kit seems functional and well made. It's very easy to carry in its nice case, or you can unpack it and add it to your gear however you'd like. Personally, I will keep this set in my car for emergencies, especially since the set includes the window breaker and seat belt cutter.Overall, very nice set at a good value. I think everyone should have at least a basic set like this for emergencies.

Ordered this Teakwood Survival Gear - Survival Kit with Storage Case mainly because I wanted the tactical pen and bracelet out of it and thought I could give away the rest of the kit as a gift to a friends kid. I do like the pen a lot. There are a lot of these kits on Amazon, I have actually ordered a similar one in the past on a lightning deal. This kit has some nice items in it but some that I think are a little bit filler for the price and item count point, the fire starter, fishing gear is not really usable for where this kit would be stored... It would be in a vehicle or boat and the items that are more utility rather than survival I would prefer. Not a bad kit and the listing is very clear about what items come with it. My only advice to other buyers would be to think about exactly what you are going to do with a kit like this and then look to see what is available on sale. Not to detract from this particular setup, I think you get quite a few nice items for the price.Update: Pen broke in under 24 hours... reducing rating to 3 stars

Great value wmevery thing in the cases but the knife is well made and easy to use the knife just either didn’t want to open or it would open with no assistance for my hand it would liters open in my pocket or on my belt I’m have dismantled it the knife to see what’s causing the issue it’s sitting on my work bench now dismantled I will be putting it back together after I clean all the components and add a small amount of butcher block wax on the shaft well worth it I hope no one has the same expense with the knife as I have
