This does what it should. Does not come out of the water and spray everywhere and keeps the pool bottom clean. Much better that the original tail.

After years of our pool sweeper squirting out of the pool all over including on and shorting our ceiling mounted poolside TV, changing the tail to this pro model has been a delight. No more squirts. Just wonderful stay-in-the-water behavior! The design works. Easy to change. Wish we had investigated this option on our own years ago. Even our pool service seemed not to know about this tail option. Yes, we are glad to recommend.

Works great with my Polaris 280. Very flexible hose. No more spraying outside the pool and no more weekly changing of the foam tail sweep. I have a PebbleTec pool and thus far it's holding up well (after 3 months of use). But time will tell... Overall, thus far, good upgrade.

I've had several Polaris sweeps and have a mixed history with the tails. I'm as like to simply toss them and let the thing run around tailless as keep messing with it -- I just don't see much benefit. But this one has a scrubber attachment mid-way and a sculpted sweep at the end to both scrub and get more action. I don't know that its going to work any better, but it does move pretty well on my 360 so happy to give it a try for awhile. If you like things to match, you may be disappointed that the tube is standard clear and not the Polaris white. But other than that, this is a drop in replacement for any existing tail, it is built with the same style components, and the attachments they added look like it will work better. So far, I like it.

This tail / tip does an excellent job cleaning our pebble tec pool finish. The foam tips on our Polaris were being eaten up within a couple weeks. This thing doesn’t support the windows and it cleans the tile. I highly recommend it
