How to use the crock to make your butter fresh
Make sure it's softened butter when you fill the butter crock. Make sure the butter keeper is completely dry before refilling. You need to change the water every 2 or 3 days. Make sure the water is cold enough. Drop an ice cube into the water if the environment is too much hot. Make sure to press the butter in firmly without leaving air holes by using the back of the spoon. Do not put new butter into the existing butter as it may fall off into the water. Do not put it in the sun or high temperature as the butter will melt away. Adding a little salt or vinegar to the water is helpful to keep fresh, while it doesn't affect the taste of the butter either.

I can fit 2 sticks inside. Keeps butter warm. I add a lil salt to my water to keep the butter fresh. We no longer have to struggle with cold butter on toast lol

Its very cute however after a day orvtwo the butter falls into the water. Not sure how to prevent this

I like the crock, however it is kind of a pain to get the butter out with anything other than a spoon. I usually use a knife, however due to the shape you have to go straight down and I prefer to not have gouges in the butter.

Great butter crock. Keeps the texture of the butter perfect which also makes it last longer than kept in a stick dish.Butter does not melt or change color ..stays perfectly spreadable . And it pretty!

Love the colour and style. Keeps the butter at a perfect temperature - nice and spreadable. Just be careful to get rid of any big air bubbles as you put the butter in the cup or it may not stay in the cup when turned upside down.

Who of us never had a problem to spread the butter on the toasts, sandwiches? If we keep in the fridge it's too hard, keep it outside it's not that good for freshness. But there is butter crock keeper! Pack the butter in the bell, add the water to the mug and you have a soft fresh butter for a couple of weeks. You keep it outside the fridge, and the water seal keep it fresh. Finally. A must have.

Happy with the purchase. Nice to have fresh spreadable butter. I use a disposable food grade glove to push in the butter. I also use distalled water in the base. Holds a stick of butter. Vibrant colour.
