In our recent ice storm, these helped us get through crusted snow for a walk and to get the dog out. But after an extra coating of ice last night, I had to stomp across the driveway to help the dog go potty. As we came back in, I almost slipped and fell several times. I realized all the spikes came out as I stomped my way across. They were good but it’s not long term. Thankfully these are not usual events around here (if climate hasn’t changed that).

I purchased two pair of the Gripper spikes. All but one broke at the toe. Three broke in to at the very same place at the toe. I have thrown them out. I will not buy from this seller again.

Excellent our road and paths were a sheet of ice. We could go for a walk to the shop without worrying of slipping over.
