Works as advertised got worried when one of the reviews said it wouldn’t tighten down in the Dewalt tracks and I can confirm that it does you have to tighten it.

Pleasantly surprised to see how heavy and nicely made this tool is. I was using the back side of a feather board prior to this, should get better results with a proper tool 😅

This did not fit the track of my Dewalt table saw. It seems like an extremely well made product. Solid aluminum, feels like it's high quality. However, i was unable to keep it from moving within the miter slot. Will return but wish I could keep it.

This is well designed and constructed tool for a woodworking enthusiast. It is designed for a 3/4 inch slot only and has a one piece rail. There are no adapters for other slots which can cause loose fits. There is one adjustment knob for tightening the tool to the slot and the distance to the saw blade. It is a simple, precise and tight tool.

I first saw this product on the 731 Wood Worker podcast. I was so impressed with the design and how easy he made it seem to use , that I decided to order one for myself. It arrived very quickly and getting it out of the mail-box I knew right away that this was no tinker-toy. the heft was very impressive being made of all metal and etched with measured markers. It fit my old 10" Craftsman cabinet table saw like it was designed just for it perfect. Set up was a breeze following the included instructions, and now I feel like this is the best personal piece of safety equipment that has been put on my saw since it left the factory back in the 1980s'.

I have purchased and returned two other brands of these because they were too short at their full extension to even come close to a "Thin Strip" on my table saw. I purchased this one because it looked longer but was in "wait and see mode". I have an old Bosch 4000 contractors saw which is my workhorse and accurate as can be. The saw has a 3/4" standard miter slot that measures 5-3/4" from its blade side edge to the face of the blade .This jig at full extension measures 5-5/8" for the same distance so I can cut 1/8" strips beautifully. The unit is also super easy and fast to set up and use, its almost a "no brainer". Once set up, you can cut strips quickly and they are all the same thickness.Infinity tools has a quick You Tube instruction video running through the set up.As for the complaint about not being able to lock it in place, The black screw that holds the thing together by way of the tightening knob has small "T wings" at the head, these need to be turned 90 degrees so they fall into the expansion slots of the miter bar and it will tighten firmly right away.Have used it to cut 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" trim, and it works perfectly.

I've only used this a couple of times - and not for cutting thin strips like it's designed for, so take the 5 stars with a grain of salt. I'm rating it so highly really because it is just so nicely built and at such a low cost. It is very heavily constructed and really is nice just to hold and look at. The bearing seems decent, and more than adequate for the application. One complaint is that it doesn't quite fit snugly in the slot on my DeWalt table saw. I've had the same problem with other saw accessories so possibly it's the DeWalt that has the problem? Anyway, super easy to fix that problem by putting a little tape on the part that fits into the slot to make it more snug. And just in case you're wondering - yes, I know you tighten down the handle to lock it into the slot. But even really cranking on the handle it wouldn't snug up enough. So I'm using a piece of tape and it works great.

This seems like a solid tool, with one exception. I have a Bosch 4100 table saw and the jig will not lock into the miter slot. There is a small very vague note about making sure a "wing" on the mounting nut (bolt?) that must be perpendicular to the body for it to lock. ????? The bolt it points to in the picture is what the knob threads on to.When I try to turn that bolt, it will only turn 90* back & forth. No wing visible & still won't lock.Tried contacting manufacturer, every email or reply I send generates the same robot response... "sorry you're having trouble, suggest you contact Amazon"Called the phone # on the website, rings 4 times then cuts off.Found reviews elsewhere with the same problem I'm having, some people with a bosch 4100 saw have figured it out, .out have not.If I could get it to lock into the miter track, I'd give this 5 stars all the way, but the complete lack of support on how to get it to do so keeps my rating lower. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'd love to hear from you.Update....took this jig to my local woodworking store & they were able to dis-assemble it & figure out this "key".It now locks in place in the track of my table saw & works like a charm.Upgraded my review to 4 stars, would have given 5 except for the horrible customer service from mfr/seller.
