Yea you could cook in it as deliverd…nice little cast pan looks well designed with removable handle.,haven’t used it yet or should so say I can’t.the inside is unfinished! it’s so rough that you could use it to sand wood. To compare it to sand paper I’d say it’s a 20 grit!So the idea of cooking eggs in it is ridiculous! No matter how many times you cure it.fortunately, I am a blacksmith on the side and have the ability to finish the inside to actually cook with it. It needs to be ground smooth and this will be labor intensive.I have restored many Dutch ovens and cast-iron frying pans that have been discarded and abused back to a usable condition and I have no doubt I will be able to do that with this and it should be a excellent cooking pan for my Korean portable cooktop. If you don’t have the tools or skills and time to learn don’t bother.Plenty of videos on the web about how to so if you’re handy and have time I think it will be rewording reworking.

This is not non-stick but cast iron. But if you season it well, and never wash with soap, it becomes non-stick with care. It was smaller than expected, but makes just as good egg roll ups as larger versions; just shorter width wise. But you can roll up 2-6 eggs. The serving trivet and spatula are perfect. Also oil them to keep them beautiful.

I've had a lot of fun with this pan. It's so simple to make an authentic Japanese omelet..It takes just a little technique to perfect the dish you prefer..Do yourself a favor and buy this!!

The lid arrived broken. I'll see how the pan does with eggs in the morning.

It comes disassembled. Before you put the wooden handle on, I highly recommend seasoning this pan. I used canola oil and baked it at 450F for an hour. It’s been a great pan so far. Perfect for eggs! I also really like the lid/cutting board. It works great!

I was so excited when i saw this as i always seen the two south Korean youtubers i follow use to make omlettes and thought it was genius! This pan is a perfecy size and is nice and heavy grade cast iron. The turner chopsticks and stand are excellent additions. The only drawback i see so far is the chips in the wood turner and stand. Im hoping my husband can sand them out because they are not just unsightly but have the potential of getting wood in food. I would hate to return the item for that reason.Overall...very excited to add this to my kitchen!
