Used this for an older sink. Works great. Maybe a little too great sometimes. Gets HOT. Easy installation to boot.

I am in the process of a remodel of the basement. I have a dedicated 240v line and have installed a smart splitter to allow for this to be fed when needed. I am truly impressed with the quality and design. It is w3ll made and comes with everything needed to operate. I was able to do the entire installation from smart splitter to the point of use instant hot water. This saved a tremendous amount of money and no codes or regulations have been impacted. It was packaged well and delivered in a timely fashion. This a a great product at a reasonable price and receives my recommendation. I have been invited to participate in the Amazon Vine program and it is my responsibility to offer an unbiased opinion. I hope you found this review helpful.

I’ll get straight to the point, this tankless ‘on demand’ water heater is really nice and the Ecotouch appears very well made; it certainly looks great as well. The digital readouts are easy to see (refer to photos). Flow-rate indicator appears very accurate and the temperature settings were also really easy to navigate via soft-touch controls (water temperature raise, lower, and power on/off controls). We are using this under a sink that is simply too far away from our main water heater to cost-effectively plumb into that system. This unit fit under a basic, one faucet sink, easily. And the water temperature was stable as long as the flow-rate was also stable. And, Ecotouch includes a template for easy of mounting and installation. Goes without saying but warrants repeating, defer to experts and professionals if you do not know what you are doing with electrical and plumbing. The ”Tankless Water Heater Selection Guide” that is depicted on the items Amazon page corresponded exactly with our settings. With 50-degree water we’re able to get a comfortably warm water temperature at roughly 0.7GPM. The maximum temperature the unit can be set at is 131 degrees (f). Follow the recommended guidelines because, depending on your flow-rate and cold-water temperatures, the final temperature can vary greatly. The unit and the fittings did not leak and the fittings include washers. Although, the washers were stuck in the protective caps so when you remove the caps be sure not to throw out your washers with the packaging caps. Lastly, I would have liked it if they included a junction box (not included) with the kit. I've included some photos and I hope this review is helpful to you.

I had this installed the day after I received it in my laundry room to supply hot water to my washing machine and hand sink. I handled the plumbing myself, but I had an electrician take care of the wiring. The moment I turned it on, both the washing machine and the sink got hot water instantly! No waiting, no fluctuations—just consistent hot water. I was especially impressed that both could run at the same time without any issues. The unit itself is compact, and installation was straightforward. It doesn’t take up much space, which is a plus in a smaller laundry area. The self-modulation feature seems to work well, keeping the temperature steady without wasting energy. If you need a reliable point-of-use water heater, this one does exactly what it promises. I’m very happy with it!

This product cannot heat water at a flow rate suitable for a kitchen faucet. Here's my experience and situation:-Water temp coming into heater is 69F-flow rate through the pump with faucet set to full on and hot side (no hot/cold mixing) is 1.5 GPM-Water temperature rise at 1.5 GPM is 11F, achieving max temp of 80F-To achieve anything I consider Hot (115F or hotter), I have to decrease flow rate to about .15 GPM, or just a trickle from the faucet.Very disappointed with it.

This instant electric water heater is compact in size, making it easy to install under the sink with confidence. It’s truly convenient—heats up quickly with no waiting time, and the temperature control is very stable.

Ran well testing it out. 2 hrs later when no water had even been used, display fails to illuminate and does nothing. Electronics went out while it was on standby..... now I'm stuck without water so I can return this cheap thing.
