Great product! Battery operated is exactly what I wanted.

Not terrible, but happy I didn't pay a lot for it. Display is very hard to read and there is no help of a back light. Also, the clock time and date must be set manually. Overall, it gets the job done, so I feel that 3 stars sums it up.

I have been buying Taylor thermometers, indoor/outdoor for 30 years. They never disappoint.

Easy to set up and use. Predicts rain fairly accurate. Takes up very little space makes it ideal for a table or desk top. Numbers are easy to read also.

Good value for the money. The trending graph is essential for barometric pressure changes and predicting upcoming weather.

The model I have is a T 1733 with the hydrometer feature. After several days they emailed me the link to download the right manual. The manual they sent with it is for a different model, 1731 which doesn't have a hydrometer feature and it doesn't give the right operating instructions.I've found no online pdf downloads of the correct manual available. The display is not backlit so you have to have it positioned just right to avoid reflections and get a alclearv view. But otherwise it is a good weather instrument.

Accurate, reasonably priced product that I recommend. It is important to note that the barometric pressure readout is given as absolute pressure and not sea-level pressure that is reported by the conventional media outlets and the National Weather Service. The pressure reading is very accurate when compared to a laboratory grade mercurial barometer (plus or minus 0.03 inch of mercury). Temperature readings, both indoor and outdoor, are accurate to plus or minus one degree Fahrenheit when compared to a known accurate laboratory grade mercurial thermometer. The weather forecasting icon is based upon changes of barometric pressure so accuracy is within the range of 50 to 75%. It appears to keep accurate time as well.

The display on this product is horrendous. It's impossible to see even in reasonable ambient light. You must shine a light directly on the screen, rendering it largely useless. For the price it is a decent instrument as long as you are ok using a flashlight to read it.
