I've tried a few different fender line holders, they're all useless. Either too complicated for people who aren't used to them, or they don't hold tight. This one is super easy to get on the lifelines, easy to detach, and locks the line securely. The only thing you need to know is the metal roller sometimes needs to be pushed down to hold the line properly. Once this tension on it it locks up. Perfect for those situations where you need a last minute adjustment quickly. Very happy, probably order a couple more

I have very large fenders and these hold them very well. Have to beware of the condition of the plastic strap as over a fair while they do tend to crack and then eventually break. I lost one of my large fenders when this happened to me one night

These boat fender adjusters are easy to use and work great. Just feed the line through the roller assembly and pull up to adjust the length of line to hang the fender. Snap the band over the bow rail and your good to go. Can also be mounted through the center hole of a boat cleat.

These are a well made product! Appear to be better quality than the ones I replaced because the straps broke due to age. These ones have a corded reinforcement layer between the outer layers of the strap. I will defiantly order them again given the price is better than other brands as well.

Very sturdy, and I trust them more with the twist lock vs the snap style.

I have been searching for a larger rail strap like this for awhile. We had the original style but they broke after a year of use due to the strap being too small for our 1" square rails. I need to order more now knowing these will be perfect.

These work pretty good and are easy to use, once you get them wrapped around the railing. The strap is thick and hard to wrap around and lock, especially for my wife, who usually ends up handing the fenders and lines. I have an older pair and the strap was much thinner and easier to attach. Also the sharp exposed metal edges leave something to be desired. You have to make sure they are attached as to not scratch the boats, or be exposed in a pathway. The twist-lock mechanism is better than the ones that have to be snapped. The previous ones I had were Garelick's and they were harder to adjust and harder to take off the rail, but were plastic and less prone to boat damage.

The adjusters work great, and Taylor Made has always been known for quality products. Be aware, they make two different fasteners that go around the rail of the boat:One is a turn buckle, which I recommend. The other is a snap on. In my opinion, the snap on type fail and are dangerous because under load (up against another boat or pier they somehow unsnap themselves causing pier rash and fiberglass damage, or they just let go when you are cruising, only to find your expensive fender is gone. Buy the type with the turnbuckle--you will be pleased with the strength and positive hold.
