Fundamneltal design flaw.Look at the pictures of this part... the nuts that you normally use to screw a DB9 cable into these are on the BACK of the baseplate.. where they are useless. Those standoffs cant be reversed because it is the front plate that is threaded. I have bought 5 of these for a prototype part, and the cable can only be friction fit because normal DB9 cables cant be secured to this.This part is mis-designed and should not be purchased

The product is missing the bolts and nuts to fix it. Also the threads don't work to connect the cable properly.

What a total waste of my money!Compared to other manufactures of the same DB9 breakout board minus the black front plate, this item is Not well designed! The connector on the printed circuit board seems to be on center bit the black cover is off center. The traces are thin, maybe good for data but not for power. I measured every diameter for mounting to the cover. The mounting holes are off center. The diagram does Not give that information You can’t secure the mating cable to the connector. I turn the nuts around so the mating cable could be secured. Which did work! But now the cutout had to change to include clearance for the nuts but workable. Over all very disappointed with this product!

Don't waste your money these are terribly designed. Can't be used to screw in the mating db9 connector. Most cases it won't let the mating connector fully seat either.It is just garbage
