I got these to cover the smaller hanging portions of my open closet to avoid dust. Look at the images on the instructions as it is very easy to confuse the parts. These are a thin and extremely lightweight design. Easy to install, decent product for a good price. They appear more matte in the images but the black ones have a shiny finish.

This is a step up from your typical Walmart rod. I love that it came in a 2 pack. My house is older (1890) and we are working on running new insulation and hvac upstairs as we already have downstairs. Due to the lack of insulation and lath and plaster we have black out curtains up to help cut down on air being wasted by getting absorbed into the walls. These are perfect for that. My kids pulled the old ones down and they bent so I'm hoping these will withstand them a little better. They should with the included brackets. They are priced appropriately and came well packaged and quickly. With the temps shooting up I was searching for ones that would get here quickly without sacrificing quality. These fit the bill!

My windows are a bit narrow, so the big drill rod curtains are just too big. I got these and the room suddenly looked a lot bigger! I am pleased with the quality, and how easily they went up. Literally five minutes to get both curtains up. There is no damage to the walls or edges of the windows. I am happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend these to others.

This tension rod is easy to install and fine for light curtains or beads, but it's too flimsy for anything heavy. I'm a bit disappointed, since I had hoped to use it as a clothing rod. Three stars for the concept.

The black curtain rod I use at home is really stable, not shaky or slippery. After installing it, the entire curtain fits much better. The appearance is simple and elegant, which matches the style of my home very well. It is not abrupt and has a good texture. The installation is also very simple. I can do it by myself and I am very satisfied.

I'm genuinely puzzled. More than half of the images are using the bracket that you attach to the wall with the included double sided tape (see picture 3 "Product Details"). By using the rod in that way, you are not using the "tension" feature of the rod at all -- it's just acting as a standard rod but instead of some decorative finial at the end you have the necessary functional ends needed for a tension rod ... flat circles with rubber pads on them. I don't know why you would do that.My washer and dryer are behind a set of folding doors. I was hanging clothes out of the dryer on the short little knobs on the doors but those only hold 2 hangers and then recently it struck me that above the washing machine the space between the wall and the wooden box around the water heater would be perfect for a tension rod and I could hang an entire load of laundry at once. Previous experience has taught me that the further you have to twist the tension to fit your space the less secure it becomes, so I was pleased to find a size that only needed a small distance twisted out to fit.

This is an "okay" tension rod. You get just one and it has to be assembled from three sections which makes it slightly shaky. The diameter is less than an inch so it is narrower than normal shower curtain rods. The price $15 seems high which does not make this a good value for money. I will update this review if needed based on further experience.
