Have used twice for up to 3 hours, charging a Bolt. Not detecting any noticeable temperature changes. Speeds are great. Snaps in with a little pushing so it’s seating well, comes apart with the resistance you’d want to be sure it isn’t going to fall apart on its own. Has a sliding “open/close” latch under the handle to secure to the Tesla part, and the release button for the j1772 is well designed and solid. The white color concerns me a little as it might increase attraction for theft, but the color looks awesome. I wish the sliding latch included a hole for adding a small lock to discourage theft. Functionally I’ve attached it, plugged into the j1772 port and after a slight delay for handshake it starts right up charging. Great purchase, reasonable price. Very happy so far.

I'm using this on my Tesla home charger for my new Kia EV9 and works great. I bought this at a great price under $40 while waiting for kia to send me my free adapter. I will keep this one at home. My son has Tesla and it's so easy to put on and off to switch between cars.

For the price definitely can't complain, great to keep on hand in your EV just in case there is a Tesla destination charger nearby.Please note, these will NOT work with the regular Tesla superchargers. That's due to the way you have to checkout/pay, they pay through connecting to a Tesla car so even if the adapter works, there's no way to pay for the charge. You have to use these at Tesla "Destination chargers" where the charge is free. (or they have another way to pay for it etc.)

This Tera Tesla Charger to J1772 Adapter is an outstanding design, implementation and deliverable. The design makes the connection to Tesla chargers easy and assured, delivering up to 48Amp at 250V for a quick charge or just a top-off. I was impressed with the Anti-Drop Loc feature, then gives one the peace of mind with keeping the adapter securely attached while charging.The IP65 weather capabilities provide a wide range of temperatures of down to -22 to 122F with it shedding rain and snow easily. The speeds and feeds are already impressive enough but, beyond that, it’s the convenience of being able to charge at more locations than without this adapter. All EV owners experience some power insecurities, always looking for the next juice station.The implementation and design speak well to the materials used, there is a sense of durability and a product that will stand the test of time and use. The ABS plastic PC materials are heavy and robust enough to not have to worry about breakage or shattering if dropped.The Anti-Drop Lock is a great feature in that I no longer have to worry about the risk of the connection with the adapter coming loose or someone missing with the charging port. I found the storage bag to be a huge help in that everything can be stored together in one convenient place, in the storage bag. This all makes for a clean, portable and compact package.More than anything else, it’s fantastic to have this adapter available to be able to expand the number of charging stations now available with this adapter. Our Chrysler Pinnacle can now be charged alongside the Tesla X’s home charging without any issues or on the road at the same Tesla locations. Moreover, for my wife, even at work where the building already has a nearby Tesla station.All of this, an excellent, well-designed J1772 Adapter to Tesla Wall Mobile Connector at a most aggressive price of under $46 that comes with a handsome storage case. The price savings by being able to now charge on the Tesla Power Wall at better off-hour rates will quickly pay for itself.In the humble opinion of this reviewer, It’s clearly my opinion that this Tera Tesla Charger to J1772 Adapter easily earned its Five Stars for all of its positives and no negatives.Thank you Tera!

I use it on my EV charger with no issues at all. It’s a heavy duty and works great.
