Thermometer arrived in 2 days from date ordered; dial is easier to read than other pocket thermometers I have purchased. I like the flat side on the bottom of dial (keeps thermometer from roiling when placed on flat surface. Pocket clip is strong. I tested the thermometer in Ice water right out of the package and it needed NO calibrating. I am very happy with this purchase
