Bought two so could easily flour bottom: Place one screen on top of large bowl, spread dough to cover screen, flour dough (brush off excess with pastry brush), put second screen on top and flip whole thing over, remove what is now top screen, stretch dough over screen edge for folding over to make pizza dough edge, add sauce and toppings, slide screen + pizza onto peel and into oven (ideally onto pizza stone). Bake at 500 F for about 8 minutes. Great pizza!

Used for cooking pizza on the grill, and it worked great! Heat the grill up high, then turn off the center burner, and bring the ends burners down to medium to grill a tasty pizza.

I bought this to use as a engine fan blade guard on my garden tractor's new engine. I had to remove the recoil start and used this as a cover since nothing is manufactured for that purpose. Very sturdy, well made and worked out great. I had to drill it to fit and paint it. Very easy and happy with it. It's not just for pizzas anymore!

I used to work in a pizza restaurant. This is commercial quality. What's good to know is that you don't have to scrub them clean. when it gets dark from cooking that's a good thing. The darker it gets the more non stick it gets. its called being "seasoned"

Purchased for cuisinart steam / convection oven. Makes the best pizza - extra crispy bottom. Have made 40-50 pizzas & still like new. What a bargain !!

This has worked very well for me for chicken strips, battered fish & pizza; It works very well with a convection oven. Two things to consider because of the larger size (18") 1) will it easily fit your stove. 2) If food gets caught in the "grid mesh" it fits only in the top rack of my dishwasher (only if a hand brush doesn't clean it). I would buy the 16" version next time :)

Very happy with the product - I've been using the 12" version for years. You can get them cheaper from a restaurant supply store but I'm ok paying a little more for the convenience of having them delivered to the door.

I bought this for cooking frozen pizza in my tabletop convection oven. For that purpose, it has proven itself ideal. But what I like it for more is straining liquid. Its round shape perfectly accommodates any kitchen pot, for example. And, it is a better pot strainer than strainers marketed specifically for that purpose. It is not commercial quality, however, because it will not last forever. Mine was purchased four years ago. It has fallen apart and needs replacing.

it does crisp my pizzas like it's supposed to, BUT clean up is terrible (reason for deducting stars). the cheese gets stuck in the wiring, even though i spray BOTH sides w/cooking oil.

I got this one and an 11" for my toaster oven so that I could keep all the melted cheese from falling onto the bottom burner. It works perfectly for that and while it doesnt give a lot of space to grab onto the thing so you're not getting your towel in the pizza it does make the crust a lot crispier across the whole bottom. Ive been using a walmart aluminum tray for about 5 years and it always left the bottom of my crust sort of soft and doughy. But with the screen I noticed it was much crispier than "normal". Is it as crispy as it would be from a wood fired pizza oven? no. But Im not looking for that level of crispness out of my kitchen stove or toaster oven.I was a little concerned that they had been used or something when I got them because the bottom side (the side with the bar code sticker on it) looked like it was corroded. I took off the sticker and grabbed a kitchen rag and wiped them off and the crud came off. So no harm no foul.Like others have said if youre concerned about stuff sticking to the grate use cooking spray on it first or a stiff bristled brush after. Im not really concerned so I'll just toss mine in the dish washer and when it comes out its clean enough for me.

This product has made my making pizza a very pleasurable experience. I had read some reviews about sticking etc...When I received this I washed it with soap and water then sprayed it with PAM. The reason I use PAM is that it doesn't leave a residue on the pan. Then after using it I wiped it with a damp paper towel. I have used it now 4 times and it make the best pizza crust and doesn't bend. Very sturdy. Hope this help someone make a decision since there are others out there. It is now 2014 and this item is still working super...no bending and makes the best pizza crust ever.
