I bought this product at the end of December 2021 and today was my first day trying it out. As I took my very first swing, the tip broke off. Would like to try another to see if this was just a faulty/weak tip or if this product really is sub par.

It literally broke the first time I swung it into a log. I wasn’t even swinging it that hard. I was just testing it out. Their products are usually pretty tough but they missed the boat on this one

Broke first time was using it out of the box while demonstrating to my wife what a Hookaroon is. The wood in the handle felt very light, didn't feel like a hardwood. I have other Timber Tuff products and the quality is much better on those.

The handle is very large and makes it difficult to grip. The tip of the metal part broke after a few uses and it is difficult to grind down so it could be used effectively.

works great for a while. A real back-saver, timesaver. Broke the tip moving oak rounds to the splitter. Sharpened the tip and then broke the handle. Going to purchase something more substantial.

Handle is great but that’s all the first time I used it the tip broke off and come to find out the spike is cast coated with a thin layer of zinc for strength
