Have a chin rest I really like that needed a new clamp (the prior one was damaged and the rest needed repair). Rather than the usual C style I wanted to use the hill style clamps available from Stradpet. I don’t like a bright metal look, so I chose the gun metal color titanium and really like the look.After gluing the damaged wood on the rest, I was able to thread in the great clamps. Unlike some hill style, properly mounted my button sticks out further than these clamps. That is nice as some other brands can dig into your neck with how far they protrude from the violin body. Did a side view photograph to show that.Another great thing is that it won’t damage your violin finish (provided you don’t over tighten it or too long a wrench and scratch the finish).Matches great with my Stradpet titanium mini tuner on the E string.

These are the best chin rest screws ever! Easy to use, hypoallergenic, and they look nicely!
