Ich bin wirklich überrascht was so ein kleines Gerät kann. Die Pfeife ist hochwertig und wirklich laut für ihre Größe 😅Sie ist aus Metall aber auch nicht so schwer. Die Kette die es dazu gibt ist auch gut falls man sie um den Hals tragen möchte.Ein absolutes Must-Have für die Notfalltasche/Survivalausrüstung.

Este silbato de TONIFE, me pareció buena adquisición por lo siguiente:Sencillez, sin piezas móviles o complicaciones, dos tubos con la forma necesaria para hacer su función.Solidez, fabricado en acero 304, de alta resistencia a la corrosión.Tamaño, pequeño para no molestar, pero no tanto que cueste usarlo o alcanzarlo durante la inmersión.Añadidos, incluye una arandela pequeña en un extremo, un cordón de bolas metálico para llevarlo al cuello y un gancho-mosquetón de aluminio para engancharlo.

This is a high quality survival whistle. It's relatively small but produces a high-pitched, piercing tone with little effort.As others have mentioned, its a good idea to pack a whistle if you are hiking in the woods. If you become incapacitated, your voice can produce exhaustion if you are calling out for help for an extended period.A referee type whistle works but requires more breath than this purpose-built whistle. You don't have to blow hard to get a good audible signal from this whistle. If you are using it for hours, that can be an important consideration if you are in serious trouble.I couldn't get the ball chain to separate so I could thread it through the whistle's carry loop. That's OK because I wouldn't use it anyway.I don't recommend keeping the whistle on this chain because there is no "break away" on it. Most serious hiking compasses come with a lanyard with an integrated break-away. That's to keep you from accidentally hanging yourself if you stumble and hook it over a branch or other hazard.This is a high quality whistle that is purpose-built for survival situations. With the exception of the included ball chain, it serves its purpose very well. I recommend it.

I got this whistle to carry on my backpack when I am hiking in the backwoods. I ordered in Silver and it is very nice. It's kind of heavy, but that is because it's not an inferior plastic whistle. The whistle came with a carabiner and a ball chain if you choose to wear the whistle around your neck. I decided to use the carabiner because I can clip it to my backpack. I see many uses for this loud, high quality whistle (survival, sports, personal safety, etc.)

If you are a hiker or go do outdoor recreation of any type I recommend to pack a good emergency whistle each time. This one is really solid, makes a great sound and the clip makes it easy to bring along. I can't stress enough how much you should get one of these whistles if you are going outdoors. Even if you live in the city it could be useful to signal for help in emergency. If you are shopping for these you probably already know how important they are, and this one is a good one, Im glad I got it. Have fun out there & be safe!

This is a great price for something that could save your life. We underestimate how hard it can be to signal for help if we've been stranded for a couple days or more. Sooner if we become dehydrated. This is a lightweight and LOUD whistle. With it, you can easily signal for help if you ever need it. Great for personal protection purposes too. At about ten bucks, this set is a great value. Includes a carabiner and neck chain so you can carry it in whatever way makes sense for you.

This is a good size sturdy whistle, all aluminum and double sided. It's not as loud as I had hoped, but it will be a great addition to my walking pack for emergencies. It's super light, and since it's all aluminum I'm not worrying about it getting broken.

A whistle is a must have piece of safety gear while backpacking, especially when going out solo. The whistle is quite loud and shrill and contains no moving parts. The whistle is all metal and comes with a carabiner and beaded neck chain. I will be attaching this to my directly to my backpack shoulder harness that currently does not come with an integrated whistle using the included carabiner.

I've included a picture to show the relative size of this whistle. The Wife and I always have signaling whistles when we're out and about. From finding a stray wife in a big box store to scaring wildlife that wanders across our camp, a good whistle is essential. I ordered this whistle to replace a plastic safety whistle that has begun disintegrating.This whistle is made of 304 Stainless Steel - a middle-grade SS regarding corrosion resistance. This whistle is heavier than the orange plastic whistle it replaced, but it's not as loud as the plastic whistle. The included carabiner is medium quality. The clasp secures well, but I don't know the metal. The included black neckchain is barely usable. It's short for adults, and the black BBs look a bit odd against the skin. I'm using a different chain than the one this whistle came with.Overall, the whistle looks durable. One potential problem is the rigid metal clip that holds the whistle to the chain. It's about the weight of a paper clip, and it could be broken off easily. This whistle is challenging to clean. I. clean it every month by putting it into an ultrasonic cleaner, which does an excellent job of cleaning the inside. This is an 'okay' whistle, but I will keep looking for a louder, better-looking whistle to wear.

Relativement petit, il produit néanmoins un puissant sifflement très aigu, perceptible de loin grâce aux entailles de part et d'autre du sifflet. Added this to my day hiking bag since I'm doing further hikes into the backwoods. Cell phones are nice, until they have no signal or battery - this has neither to worry about not being available.Solid aluminum so not likely to break, just keep it from getting too much gunk inside and test it often to make sure it still works!I didn't like the ball chain, it felt cheap and didn't have a breakaway link - and also I don't like wearing things around my neck so would never have used it anyway.
