Each tree needs to be able to move independently or structural damage could/will occur to your treehouse if a floating bracket isn't used to isolate the trees from each other or from fixed posts. Made with 1/4” steel plate, 1/2” thick UHMW for the bearing surface, and a tough textured black powder coat finish. Only for TABs with 9” perch or longer, or 1.25”x15” lag bolts.

The description clearly states it comes with the tree house bracket and hardware, but the part did not come with any hardware to mount to the beams, the tree or anything else. It is very misleading.

I was worried that I overpaid for this bad boys, but they sure are solid. Worth every penny! My father-in-law helped with the install. We used a 1" spade bit to drill the pilot hole in the tree and I had a massive pipe wrench to tighten the bolts into place. This detail will allow the trees to move a bit without stressing the wood structure. Kids are loving the treehouse so far!
