This isn't the densest/heaviest tip I've used, but it worked fine for a small project of through hole LEDs and SMDs on a PCB. I can't speak to the longevity of the tip itself as I haven't used it nearly enough to wear it out yet, but so far it's been performing fine. It's roughly the same price as other tips I've bought.

Tried this out. It's about an inch longer, but noticeably lighterweight th han the stock one. It worked fine, but because it has less weight and therefore less thermal mass, it isn't going tk be as good for heavier wires or things like batteries that suck away heat fast. Overall, though, it works fine for small electronics I tested with.
