Size is not for normal people torso fits but the leg straps are pretty much for a Elephants thighs seriously misproportioned. I got the larger siaze because reviews said the torsos fits way to snuggley no room for extra layers of cold weather gear proble is the size that works for torso is ridiculous around the legs and no room to tighten. I would have to go get a seamstrsess to resew and so return Button on this

So I ordered the Medium Large. I'm about 6'-2" and around 185lbs. Really the larger XL size is probably a better fit, though things like this tend to be rounder, not longer. There is no adjustment for torso length, and there is not enough adjustment to make this fit me over my cold hunting gear. The only adjustments are the 'waist' strap that goes around my stomach and the leg straps which are already all the way loose. The fabric padding is decent and should be quiet as long as I don't snag something on it and upset my apple cart. The chest buckle is super flimsy. It may not be 'weight bearing' in a fall, but it still does not give me confidence. The smaller buckles on their tree saddle would be a much better application. The extra strap for suspension trauma relief/ deer drag is a nice addition. The directions are confusing for even me to read. A video that covers the fitting of the harness and application would be very helpful. The directions mention using a tree climbing strap, but don't seem to include that. I have an extra one that I could use from my tree saddle, but this is just again confusing.I'm a Safety Specialist and spend much of my day working with fall protection gear for Roofers, so I'm familiar with fall protection.

I have used this one time, very easy to use and everything attaches nicely.

It’s comfortable and simple to use but the medium/large is a little snug. I’m 5’9 and 165lbs and the shoulder straps kind of pull on my shoulders when I have it on. It would be nice if it was adjustable to give more length from the leg straps to the shoulder area.

I like the adjustability and comfort of this harness. The steel buckles are very strong and easy to release when taking the harness off. I've had harnesses in the past which were a giant mess of straps which became a tangled mess, especially when trying to put them on in the dark. This harness retains most of its shape when stored, and is easy to put on without tangles and twists, even in the dark.Since I like to wear my harness into the woods to save time at the bottom of the tree, I was looking for a harness that would be extremely silent (no metal buckles clanging and making noise,) while I walk to the stand, and this is extremely quiet. The wide straps that route behind your back and through your legs to attach to the harness will distribute weight better than small straps of other harnesses. This is a high quality harness, and will last forever. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a quality harness that won't break the bank.
