The Ullman 6 Piece Auto Hook and Pick Set seem to be a pretty decent quality set for the price. They have removable handles and comfortable grips and my husband will be able to use the set for a long time to come.

I’m really impressed with this hook and pick set! The quality is excellent—each tool feels strong and durable, and they work exactly as they should. Whether I’m using them for precise tasks or getting into tight spots, they perform great every time. The value is outstanding for the price, and I honestly have no complaints. At the risk of sounding really old, one thing I really appreciate is the bright orange handle—it makes the tools so easy to find in my crowded tool drawer. Overall, this set is a fantastic addition to my toolkit, and I highly recommend it.

I replaced all the heater hoses on my vehicle last weekend and I used every single one of these in this set. Some were good for reaching way back to the firewall and grabbing onto the hose. Others were good for different angles. It is nice to have a complete set like this with various shapes and sizes. I was pretty rough with them, and none of them bent or broke on me. I had a problem with the handles loosening up. The handle kept unscrewing, which wasn't that ideal. They weren't very well tightened from the factory. A good tightening or some thread lock will fix them right up though. They seem well made and of quality. I have no complaints about them, and I like them a lot.

This is my review of Ullman Mechanics Cushion Grip Hook & Pick Set of 6 - Orange Handle. This is a nice set of six various shaped picks. The length is great, allowing for getting deeper into tight spaces. I used them to fix the contacts on the seven-pin connector for my trailer. The right-angle pick fits into and behind the pins allowing me to pull them out and increase the contact with the plug. It worked great for this purpose but had an issue with the orange sleeve slipping off the handle. The metal of the pick is screwed into the handle which is a long steel hexagon shaped “nut”. This provides a durable connection that is easy to grip. But what happens is the orange sleeve slips off the steel “nut”. Not a huge issue but something I thought originally was a small nut that detached from the handle making the picks a poor design, but I was wrong. I like the fact that the handle is screwed on because I may 3D print new handles. I feel the picks are useful and a good choice so I will rate the product 4 stars.

Just like a dentist has multiple picks to use for various needs, a mechanic or hobbyist will also benefit from this variety of picks in different configurations.Whether you are cleaning, hooking, scraping, probing, piercing, scratching, etching, or placing- this set of picks provides a variety of angles to suit whatever mechanical or crafting needs one can imagine.Sharp tips, along with substantial shanks, and medium diameter plastic textured handles are ideal for miniature to heavy tasks, while promoting a decent grip that’s especially helpful when liquids and lubricants are present.

As a self-professed DIY I am always looking for something to repair or finding something to repair on my home one of the things you will always find is you always need that just something to get an o-ring at or the scratch through something at a different odd angle than anything else is made this picture is impeccable and it's design and function it is extremely well made and the tips of heat treated and hardened even though I haven't owned a very long I had to rebuild a carburetor on my garden tractor I needed it to clean out the corrosion around the Jets and some o-rings around the base the ones I had had small handles and I found that my hands would get fatigued when using it these handles are large enough for my big hands where they don't get fatigued and long enough where I can reach down into things and hook an o-ring or scrape corrosion from a seat any mechanical tell you having a good strong pic set is invaluable in any of their mechanical repairs not only for mechanics but just about anything around the house you can find a reason to use these as a matter of fact being I'm not much of a carpenter the other day I use it to get a splinter out now that's versatility I would definitely recommend you to anybody who was looking for a good quality made easy to use well thought out fix it that is easily less than half the cost of the name brand ones you would buy off the truck

This is a good set. The shafts are threaded into the handles so they won’t slide out. The steel is the proper hardness and the handle has good grip to it and the shaft up from the handle a little bit is knurled for better grip. It comes with little protective sleeves for each point but good luck keeping up with them.
