After several years our old timer finally gave out. I found this on Amazon and it looked like a good fit. Delivery was quick and it looks really good in the outlet with the front cover (that covers the timer and also works as an on/off switch for overriding the timer when needed.) Works like a charm!!

Paid for 2 new UltraPro 24hr Digital Bar Outlet Timer, 2-Polarized Timer Outlet, 2 Programmable Cycles Plug Timer, 5ft Override Tether Light Timer Indoor, Lamp Timer, Electrical Outlet Timer, White, 1 Pack, 50021Instead, we received 2 BROKEN, DIRTY, USED and MISSING PARTS digital timer. 1 timer was dirty with a used sticker with dirt, lint and hair still attached to on/off button, the cord was scuffed with dirt and a prong was missing in the back. 2nd timer had a broken quartz LCD display and was missing an ON button. Boxes were missing directions. Quite embarrassing had we did not check the boxes before wrapping to gift away.Clearly these were already used items and broken at that. Utter disappointment.ZERO STARS NOT ONEWaste of Time and Money.

Easy to set, override, or relocate. Discreet with tap on/off function. I liked my first one so much, I bought a second. If I need another I know exactly what to buy. 10/10 highly recommend.

I needed a timer to automatically turn on a hard-to-reach lamp in the morning, and also be able to manually turn the lamp on and off when I need it. Any other timers I found were not able to do this without disabling the schedule. The door button feature is excellent; I can easily turn it on in the dark without feeling around for the correct button.

Timer is easy to set. Remote tether is a great idea. My outlet is behind the table and a timer is difficult to get to to use a manual switch. The tether solves that with a switch right on the table.

This timer is easy to set with clear instructions. One issue is that the start time I set wasn't reflected in the actual start time, it triggers much earlier...which isn't a huge deal just odd. Also, the quick on/off button worked the first few times I used it to switch off so my little desk fountain at work wouldn't go on during the weekend but now no longer works. Not sure why so I have to now remember to unplug it. Again, it isn't that huge an issue just a bit inconvenient. I would still order this product again due to ease of set up but those are some points I thought future buyers should be told about.
