The Koettco Newest Technology Three in One Ultrasonic Dog Trainer Gets my dog’s attention. This dog training device seems to work as expected. Easy to use and charge. It helps to get my dog’s attention so I can redirect him if he is barking, jumping, etc. (I have a 70-lb. Rottweiler/Labrador mix.)I Have not used features other than high-frequency noise. If the device is in my pocket, sometimes the light gets turned on and my pocket lights up.The On/off switch is not clearly labeled so it is a bit hard to know which is which. Also hard to know when to charge it. I do that roughly weekly and that works out fine.

I have a cat that loves to get into things in the middle of the night! Usually I can snap my fingers and he will stop. But lately he has been disregarding the finger snap. I wanted something to discourage his bad behavior. Using the lowest frequency on the Koettco Newest Technology Three in One Ultrasonic Dog Trainer he instantly stops what he is doing. I can’t hear the frequency at all.The red laser light also keeps him entertained! My wife and I go on walks in the country and there is this one house that has some dogs that always run barking at us. I plan on taking this with me to see if it repels the approaching dogs. So far they have not come out when we walk by!The Koettco Newest Technology Three in One Ultrasonic Dog Trainer has been working well for me and the cat is behaving better. Who says you can’t train a cat!I would recommend the Koettco Newest Technology Three in One Ultrasonic Dog Trainer.

We have two chihuahuas and one of them has a habit of yipping at any noise. They also sometimes get into a bit of a tuffle with each other. One press of the button and the yipping stops or they break up from their spat. I have no use for the light or laser pointer, but the ultrasonic feature works well. I just hope they don't grow used to t.

The title of my review is referencing the device’s ability to deter, train, or even be acknowledged by any dog.The device does turn on, it takes a charge (took about 4 hours), it feels cheap, the laser pointer works dimly, the frequency selection switch also feels cheaply constructed and the center position is difficult to find, each of the frequencies emits a very audible-to-human-ears sound (which is annoying and deters me from wanting to use it). The worst part? When the device is activated, it emits the high pitch sound, yet the dog(s) do not react or acknowledge it whatsoever. Absolutely no change in the dog’s behavior or actions. We also have birds and a cat, none of which react to this device. It only affects humans! I do not recommend. **The two stars are for the laser pointer and light.

I can hear it when I press it. Of course, my dog probably hears it pretty loud. I got this because when I take him out in the car and we park someplace, he starts barking, non-stop, at the people passing by. With this, I can get his attention. Also, recently, he has been going out of the house after me, even when I haven't called him. That is dangerous, so I purposely left the door open and waited outside out of his view, lo and behold, he came out. I hit the button while saying No! he cowered back very quickly. He is very smart, so I think I don't have to do this more than a couple of times. I had a different one long ago, which I had to use twice, to stop him from jumping at people. After that, all I had to do was show it to him and he would stop any wrong behavior. Like I said, very smart.I have a poodle, so this is good for him, but I doubt this works for a big dog. The frequency of the sound is not where it's supposed to be if I can hear it. But it does the job for my dog, so I'm ok with that.

Koettco International presents this item as unique to them in the material that comes with the device but there are clearly other versions out there on Amazon as well as other websites. They claim that there are 2x ultrasonic emitters when there is clearly only one speaker. They also claim that the sounds that are produced are inaudible to human ears, yet on all three settings the sounds are extremely audible. Ask my neighbor, she knows all about this even if she can't pinpoint the sound...Based on the fact that the manufacturer is presenting lies in their listing and with the item, I cannot with good conscience recommend this product. There are other options out there and I urge anyone considering an ultrasonic dog training device to consider them as it appears Koettco International cannot be trusted.Does the item work as described? Kind of. Dogs may or may not react to the 3 sound settings. The laser on my unit does work but if I train animals to recognize the device as one that produces such sounds as described, then why would I want the animals to associate the device with something fun like a laser pointer? It makes no sense to me. The flashlight turns on and strobes but they are very weak when compared to an actual flashlight. Overall, I would not recommend this device, even without the manufacturer's propensity for lying.
