The leads themselves are great - nice deep color and smooth writing. Unfortunately, they were shipped in a flimsy envelope and were all broken into two or three pieces each. If not for the hard case they come in, they would have been pulverized. Need to at least put a Fragile stamp on the envelope or ship them with something substantial. Like in a box.

I like how smooth it is. Unfortunately it makes it hard if your trying to use it with lead grades from another company. I only use uni so that not a issue with me.

The hard case is awesome. Make sure to remove the red cap end ( at least I had to for my Rotring 2mm lead holder ). Awesome quality lead @ 2mm, but kind pricey.

Son las mejores que he probado. Se deslizan suavemente sobre el papel y dejan un trazo oscuro sin mucho esfuerzo. He probado también Staedtler y Koh I Noor. Pero las de Uni Mitsubishi son las mejores.

High quality, strong, smooth. The 2B is dark. Easy to write with. Sharpens well with the Uni sharpener.Made by Mitsubishi, and that's all good.

Ordered 2B. Excellent lead.5 star Premium art material at a reasonable price. Happy I did not have to buy a package of 12.The plastic case is very flimsy and 4 of the 6 leads were broken. :-( Minus 2 stars.I would not trust the plastic case in a backpack either.Still all very usable and enough lead to last me many years.Will eventually purchase more Mitsubishi leads as the need arises.Also will report to Amazon that the the packaging for this product is not adequate.

I have recently discovered the Uni and Tombow makes, it is said they are the best and to be honest I think so too. I cannot make a decision which is better, i like the shades of the Uni and the lines of Tombow, both are exceptional. I would recommend to make your decision by trying both. I like the package it is smart, too.

Great lead but a bit too soft for writing. Couldn't find mitsubishi HB grade refills so I had to go with Koh-i-Noor which is the write hardness for writing but too light.
