Estas minas son de muy buena calidad, pueden afiliarse mucho sin que se quiebre la punta, al ser 4H son mimas muy duras que es justo lo que buscaba, a comparación de otras marcas como "faber castell" o "staedtler" estas minas son un poco más oscuras.El gran pero que se les puede poner a estas minas es que están hechas para usarse únicamente con los portaminas de la misma marca debido a que tienen una parte plastica cerca del final de la mina y que si se usa con los portaminas de la marca sirve de freno para que la mina no salga del portaminas, pero a su vez evita que puedan entrar en otros portaminas sin tener que cortar esa parte lo cual sin importar si se usen o no con los portaminas de la marca les resta poco más de medio centímetro, otro aspecto es que a comparación de otras marcas es que son minas más caras pero sin lugar a duda valen la pena comprarlas.

I bought the whole Uni line of 2 mm lead refills. As compared to Staedtler, the Uni's have a smoother more buttery feel to them. They are a pleasure use. The only downside to them is that being a softer lead they wear down much faster making it necessary to resharpen more often. I do prefer the Uni lead holder over the Staedtler. Mainly because Uni's holder is available with clear markings of which lead is in the holder. So the Uni is my second choice for drawing lead.

I'm glad that Amazon offers 2mm 4H leads for sale at a great price - I paid less for (6) leads than other vendors were charging for (2) leads + shipping. But all (6) leads arrived broken. They're still usable, I'll just need to reload twice as often. The hardness and darkness of the lines matches what I expected for 4H.

Maybe this brand has a different hardness scale, but it seems to me that this lead is as soft as a 2B... on the other hand love the stopper at the back of the lead, it’s saved me a few times.

It’s a great lead. It writes smooth and erases easy. But, some wacky little band on the back of it prevents it from being used in my staedtler lead holder without chopping off the back end. Thankfully, this is only a 6 lead case so I only have to bother with it 5 more times.

Little drop out preventer band on each lead has to be cut off with a knife or razor blade before use in normal lead holders.But it's smooth, erases easily, takes and holds a wicked edge.

Best brand of 2mm lead I have found. Very smooth for 4H. If I have a choice, I wouldn't use any other brand for drawing.

You can tell the company cares about their product. It is thoughtfully packaged and presented. The case isn't bulky, and protects leads from breaking. The graphite itself is smooth and offers a visual difference from one grade to the next, comparable to tonal values of other graphite brands. The smoothness makes it easy to get a nice line or good tonal variation when shading. It blends well. I have ordered several grades, and every one has arrived intact and been of consistent quality. I wish US retailers carried these, just to reduce shipping time, but they are worth the wait.

4 star because of the "ring" around the top of the lead which prevents it from being used in all lead holders. When using in another holder I have to break off a small amount of the lead, and that piece always breaks too big.
