Well, this lock mount for a seat post appears to be relatively well-made. Unless your seat post is a 30.9 or above, even with the included shim this will not fit. Fortunately, if you have been around biking for any period of time you probably have dozens of shims setting everywhere, where you keep your bikes. I was able to use some additional shims to mount this onto a 28.6 seat post. No place in the description states the minimum size for the lock mount. I would also like to see the unlocking trigger be operated from either side. As it stands, you can only operate it from one side. So keep this in mind as you are mounting it if you are right or left-handed, which side you want trigger to be on.If they included the shim to bring this down to a 27.2 seat post, this would probably increase by two stars.

This lock holder is being used with my kryptonite lock. Works perfectly and there are not issues with it holding the lock on the underside of the frame of my bicycle.
