The 131763310 Door strike is installed on the door frame and is used to secure the door, and the washer cannot be started until the washer door is locked.

I’m not a washer repair man but pretty handy. The part is fine but it did not resolve the door sag issue on my washer. I think the sag issue has shared blame between the door and the hinge. I’m not replacing the door.

I contacted our local appliance repair shop about getting these parts and they said they didn’t have them because that washer model was discontinued a few years ago. Went to Amazon and found them right away, had them in a few days, and they fit perfectly.
