Replaced my gasket without drain.This gasket is the same as the F type but the drain is plugged.

For years I’ve been trying to figure this out, ordering the same part number (4986er0004b) from different vendors. It turns out that LG OEM and every aftermarket gasket seal is now the wrong shape and size. WM2277HW gasket seal is about an inch narrower in depth than everything claiming to be 4986er0004b. These all have too much material and it bunches up when you close the door- it works but not correctly. A quick way to know if you’re ordering the right part… make sure it only has one pointed triangle. All of these on Amazon and other stores have two triangular points on the inner ring. The ONLY WAY to find a proper gasket for WM2277HW is ordering it USED eBay. Crazy right!?
