Easy to use it’s like the first one I got except for points the bottle down that you’re feeling it helps a lot if you can put the bottles in the freezer before you fill them. It’ll fill it 3/4 of the way with one frozen bottle if you put it back in the freezer just for a few minutes the propane will get cold again and I’ll fill it all the way up to 1 pound.

This item shipped and arrived fast. This 1 pound propane tank refill valve with gauge works very good. This assembly is well made and the machine work is top notch. I had one of these that I loaned out and it never came home. These are very easy to use and very convenient to refill your 1 pound propane cylinders from a 10 or 20 pound BBQ grill sized cylinder. The gauge is easily readable with visible indicators letting you know when your 1 pound cylinder is full. This assembly has a built in 1/4 turn ball valve to open and close the flow of propane. The treads are very well machined and the fit is tight on both ends. Overall this is a well made item and nice to have on hand. The cost was fair for this well made and machined transfer valve. I rated this item 5 stars.

Normally we would take lots of the little 1 lb. tanks with us when we head out to the woods. But, that was getting expensive. So, we got this propane refill adapter and now we just fill up the little tanks as needed.It only takes a minute and it saves a lot of time and money. Because the Department of Transportation is leery of refilling these tanks I only fill them halfway to avoid stresses on the little tanks and I have never had a problem. But, other than that, it’s a great way to save.

This works great to save money by filling the expensive little bottles. They screw right on and fit tightly. The valve controls the flow of liquid from the big tank. You will get a little less in than the professionally filled bottles, but this is still well worth doing.ALWAYS wear protective gloves and eyewear. My Dad worked in propane (and propane accessories!) for many years and he still was cautious with it, so we should be too.
