Camera shake is also minimized, which enables you to take a picture at slower shutter speeds without the worry of camera blur.
An O-ring under the head of the button keeps the button completely secure to the camera when it is tightened down.

it fits the x100f, but it will not screw in all the way far enough to utilize the rubber o ring that comes with it. it hasn't come loose at all, but just a note. other than that, the feel is good. It made the shutter button feel more tactile when half pressing it.
