great quality and work well - we have had two for over four years and use them in our garage during the winter for kitchen composting - no odors and lots of great garden soil!

This bin is very well constructed. The quick release bottom makes it easy to collect your castings. Definitely would recommend this product

I purchased this as a first worm bin, and i built the frame using scrap wood. The bin has worked perfectly. The compost material in the bin becomes so potent that I seeds are growing from it in total darkness! It took me a little while to realize I needed to add compost with the food to fill the bed gradually. It is almost full after six months. I also left the bin outside during a rare freeze (I live in south Louisiana), and all the worms died. My fault. I purchased 2000 worms to start. However, the second time around, I purchased only 1000. I am looking forward to making my first batch of worm tea.

I found it very easy to set up my worm bag once I figured out how to support it as I did not buy it with the frame and I wasn't set up to build the wooden support that you get plans for with the bag. That said, it was easy to get the bag ready for the pound of worms I ordered from Meme's. The little composters are happy in their new home.I want to say that I had occasion to contact Steve at Urban Worm Co. and the customer service has been exceptional. He really wants you to succeed and renders assistance as best he can over the email. Looking forward to harvesting my own castings in a couple of months. Five-stars!

Very well made CFT worm bag. Customer Service is great. All questions on the setup and use of the product were answered same day, even over the Memorial Day weekend. Frame plans were very detailed and easy to follow. If you have been using a rigid plastic bin for your worms, the challenge with the bag is keeping it moist in a conditioned environment. Since it breaths, the worms love it, but it also sheds moisture, unlike a plastic bin which seems to collect it with the lid installed. But, I think it is going to be easier to add water, to keep it right, than to get rid of moisture in a wet bin. Overall, I am very pleased with the system.

Purchase the product for the school project and order the worm bag without the frame. We build a frame that is based on the dimension given however during the assembling of the items, we got in the contractor to cut the PVC pipe based on the recommended length of each PVC. We notice that the frame didn't seem to be able to fit into the frame at all. when we slightly pull the handle for the PVC, suddenly the seam gives way and tears off.the bag it's isn't square, to begin with, but however, the frame is square. this cause a lot of frustration and inconvenience during the assembly. I returning the product however for a 100% refund but only give a portion of it due to shipping cost.very disappointed as the students are really excited about the bag.for those who are purchasing the item, do that note that the length of the bag is different and if you are building the frame yourself, YOU HAVE TO MEASURE THE LENGTH of the bag before you begin, you should have 4 sticks that is shorter than the one recommend

Seems like a better design than the stacked bins. Made my own frame to save costs and while this is a well made product that I expect to get years of use from ...I feel its a bit overpriced for what it is which is a sack with a lid and zipper. I sew and this is max a $30.00 item at retail but like everything considered "hobby" or "gardening" ..the prices are too high. Its too soon to tell as to the collection so might come back and review that later.

I’ve got a couple of thousand red wrigglers munching away on all my vegetable scraps. Keep them fed, keep the bedding moist, and this bag does it’s job. First castings harvest should be coming up soon!

I have been keeping worms for about 20 years using the worm factory, a unit with interlocking bins. I noticed that my stock had diminished and I wanted to try something different. I opted to order just the bag and construct a frame using the supplied directions. The bag is heavy duty and and has good zippers. I used my existing compost and ordered some new worms from Uncle Jim's Worm farm. It will be a while till I harvest my first compost, and I'll update my review at that time.

I ordered this product after a lot of reading & research. When it arrived, I was so impressed. It's a well made piece of equipment. So well designed for ease of use. I wanted a "continuous flow through" or CFT unit so that I would not have to sort worms out of the harvest. This is designed to do just that. Feed at the top, harvest at the bottom. I feel it's a great value for the price. And the man who designed it, is happy to answer questions on how to use it and questions about worm composting. If you are looking for a CFT worm bin, I highly recommend this one.
