I took two photos to compare the spectrum. The first photo is from this bulb, the uvb seems too high to me, I may be wrong. This lamp even emits heat during prolonged work. In the second photo, it is a standard fluorescent UVB bulb.

Not having a UVA/B light meter, we are taking the manufacturer's word for its efficacy. So far, our reptiles have not expressed any complaints.

I needed a light for my python and I used a card that measures both UV B and A and this bulb passes for both. This thing doesn't run very hot which is important to know. Some people may want a bulb that runs hot and some may not depending on the pet's needs

I have a bearded dragon with a dual-dome fixture over basking site and 18" T-8 lengthwise to make sure she gets adequate UVA/UVB light for calcium synthesis. The problem with the dual-dome fixture with a heat bulb in one socket and UV in the other, is excess heat has detrimental effects on both bulbs and shortens their lives. I've been wanting a LED UVB lamp for awhile to decrease heat in that lamp and because of the increased lifespan of LED without degredation of UV production over the bulbs lifespan. This MAINENG UVA UVB Bulb for Reptiles & Amphibians, 8525 LED Lamp with UV Light seems to fit my needs perfectly and the price is comparable to the CFL's that sometimes only last weeks and 6 months at most. Longevity is yet to be seen, but so far, so good!

I purchased the 8508 LED lamp to use for my Cuban False Chameleon. They live in heavily forested areas, so they don't need a strong uv light. The light bulb was well packaged when it arrived. I haven't been able to test the durability yet, but it's supposed to last for 3 years without a loss in the uv intensity. I measured the uv output with my Solarmeter and it read at 2.3 twelve inches directly below the bulb. Because it is a bulb that screws into a socket, the best intensity is directly below the light and decreases as you move away from the light. I placed the light over the branches the lizard likes to hang out. That way he can control how much uv he absorbs based on where he sits on the branch. There is little to no heat output from the light, so you don't have to worry about overheating your enclosure. Overall, I really like this light. Traditional uva/uvb lights only last 6mo to 1 year before they are no longer effective. I am curious to see how long this light will effectively put out the same intensity of uv light before it begins to break down.
