Size is important when sharpening a chainsaw. This file was not consistent in its sizing, but a bit graduating, other than the tapered end. We sent it back. The return was without hitches, which is always a plus.

Listed as 3 mm diameter, but actually is 3.5 mm. For some uses that may not matter, but I needed to file some 3mm wide grooves in the edge of a metal plate, so this file not useful.

I had a pricey glass that had a small chip. This has taken the rough edge off so it’s now usable again.

I see some people are complaining about the size of this file. Yes, it is small, but it is a great tool. I am using it to take the rough edges off of cuffs/bracelets that I make from sheets of sterling silver. It's so effective that I am ordering two more!

I came to this to spend literally as little as possible expecting the bare minimum. And in fairness they did deliver exactly the kind of bare minimum quality I wanted. Fantastic product that fits my needs perfectly but 3 stars because it still is an awful tool in almost every way that people should definitely pay more to avoid. Like, look at the size carefully it's reaaaaally tiny!

Cuts glass very well taking off sharp edge with ease. Must use lubricant to get good result.

Coconuts are very difficult to file down, and this seems to be working great so far, whether or not it will stay that way, I cannot attest to yet, but having used it only to file down the bottom of a coconut to become even so it stands up on its own, it actually works! Best file I have purchased so far for my handmade projects. So if you are looking for inexpensive options, give it a try!
