I already have a pretty much identical set of valve lapping tools, it's gotten plenty of use and works really well. This set is no different. There's not a lot to this tool, it's hard to mess it up. My only objection is my policy of, any time there's no price and the item is marked as "currently unavailable", it gets 3 stars. I won't give something a glowing review if I don't know what they're charging for it. There are identical sets available here on Amazon for $10, so that's what I would expect this tool to go for. If it's more, I would go buy the other identical one for the less money, it's just the sensible thing to do.

This is a basic handheld valve lapping tool set, at a great price. It’s pretty much the same as the one that I’ve been using for 20 years, but the suction cups are much better (probably because they’re new) and there are several sizes between the two tools, along with replacement cups for the ends. This type of tool isn’t going to repair burnt valves or damaged seats, but it’s good for lapping in a new valve or cleaning up a dirty valve seat and visually confirming that you still have a good seal. It works as intended, and it is a great value.

Not to much to say about these. They are just some sticks with suction cups on the end lol. But they are cheap and work well. They arrived on time and well packaged. They are very sturdy and easy to use. All you do is suction them on to your valves and put some polishing compound and get to work. There are tons of different ways of doing a lapping job but this one is a very good option. Overall, I think the price is right on these and I think they are a very good place to start. Recommended
