Worked for less than an hour and was overheating and smoking. Then stopped working. Pretty low quality

Nice looking low cost angle grinder. Includes two grinding wheels and two cut-off wheels. (Please double check the package when you receive it. My first set only had one each of the grinding and cutting wheels. Ask for a replacement)I could hear the gears grinding/knocking noise as it slowed down. It appears that the 90 degree gears are not precision machined nor well lubricated. It's not an expensive high-end grinder by any means. Good enough for my DIY projects and use it occasionally

I have tested a number of side grinders. Most are just ok for an economy tool. I was expecting the same with this one. I was pleasantly surprised! This is one of the lowest prices I have seen on these and yet it is well made and works excellent. No bogging down at all while cutting railroad spikes. They supply two grinders disks and two cut-offs. They take a standard 7/8" blade the same as all of my DeWalts. The wrench is also standard and has an added wrench on the other end to tighten the guard.Speaking of the guard, it is the easiest one I have seen. After you install it the first time by tightening it enough to have a tight fit on the collar when the quick connect is snapped down. That's it. You should not need to adjust it again unless the nut loosens while unattached. It is much lighter weight than the DeWalt. Comes with an extra set of brushes. The side handle is standard and of course ambidextrous. The lock pin is pushed down from the top. I kind of like that. The power switch is unusual. You push it forward but then need to push in toward the tool to lock. The nice thing is it is a quick finger touch to stop it for safety.I don't believe you will find a better deal than this.
