These seemed to dry out and become worthless much faster than those that cost more, so I had to replace them more often - each of the 3 lasted about 3 weeks.

WorkS fine, cheaper than Honeywell. Oh by the way, if you have this Honeywell humidifier, it isn’t made by Honeywell and there is no warranty as stated and included in box. I bought 3 from Walmart.com. Bearing in one went out 32 days after delivery... Walmart wouldn’t replace because sold by 3rd party DealClock, who wouldn’t replace because I had it more than 30 days, sent to Honeywell but they wouldn’t replace because they really didn’t make the humidifier, sent me to Vox/ Vac(?) who makes them but they wouldn’t replace because I bought it from a 3rd party (back to Walmart.com or whatever)! So to Vox I said “If I want a Honeywell anything how would I know to contact you instead of Honeywell? No real answer. So I’m out of luck. Don’t buy Honeywell anything- just a brand name used by others to sell inferior products...they don’t make the products and don’t back up warranty.

Soooooo much better than the "HONEYWELL Certified HC-14 Replacement Wicking Humidifier Filter, Filter E."The HONEYWELL filters went moldy within weeks, even though I disinfected my humidifier with bleach. It got to the point that I had to set up a cleaning schedule where I completely rised all the parts of my humidifier and still, a week later with a brand new filter and there was scary black mold appearing all over the filter. The HONEYWELL filters arrive in individual cardboard boxes, with no other wrapping but these VEVA filters arrive in a three pack, and each one is individually wrapped so they are sealed form airborne contaminants until they are ready to be used. These are lass absorbent than the HONEYWELL filters, but all I have to do is flip the VEVA filter over every few days and the humidifier works exactly as efficiently as with HONEYWELL filter, not switching on any more often, but these VEVA filters just do not go moldy. It took about two weeks before the HONEYWELL filter was a biohazard, the VEVA filter lasts two months and still it has no mold!!!These have saved me so much work, constantly cleaning and replacing filters. I highly recommend them!

Fits my HC 6009 humidifier fine. They wick the water up into the filter so the fan can blow air through it. A more economical humidifier filter for this machine. Not sure if it will filter the air as well as the factory filter because it lack the outer fabric of the factory filter. So if filtered air is important get the factory one. If humid air is your main goal these will work fine.
