Designed to be vehicle mounted. The fuel and exhaust systems are routed on the bottom of the unit. Mounted the heater on an old computer cases, routed the exhaust outside using a longer exhaust pipe. Starts right up. Heats my home gym (single car garage) during the Ohio winter. Good value if you’re comfortable with the DIY aspect

Vevor is a great company stands behind their products. If you have any problems at all they get right on it I love the little diesel heater there’s enough videos online. You can learn to adjust it and what the weak and strong points are how to adjust the fuel & must do modifications altogether they are amazing. I own three of these. I heat a 27 foot RV and it only burns about 3/4 of a gallon per day if you adjust it right the biggest challenge is running the exhaust. Don’t use the long flex extension pipes just run it into a larger pipe than what comes with it if you need to extend it. To eliminate back pressure.

I kept getting a power overrun code (E-1) right after I installed this heater. I have installed a diesel heater from another manufacture for another scamper in the past, but thought I'd give this one a try.After many, many emails from someone in China, they finally believed me that the 12 volt power to the heater was in the correct range. After finally receiving a new mother board and glow plug, it was installed and ran for a while until, you guessed it, another E-1 code.At this point, I'll eat the cost of this heater and go with another brand. It's not worth my time or frustration dealing with overseas communications.

The heater works very well but the temperature control function is worthless It does not work at all for maintaining a set temperature as it should which is dumb given it's just a programming issue that should have been sorted out in the design a long time ago.Manual mode gives a range of 1 to 10 for heat output and the temperature control function is just that but the 1 to 10 numerical values are replaced with false temperature numbers that have no relation to maintaining the actual temperature of the room.

I've had this unit up and running for a little over a week heating my Skoolie and am pleased thus far.There is a million videos and resources online regarding theses style of heaters so you shouldn't have much issues getting it up and running. As expected the included manual is basically useless.The downside that could be easily solved by the manufacturer is that it doesn't include a fuel standpipe/pickup tube.The controller is very basic but easy to read and the brightness is good. I do wish it didn't have the weird cheesy greeting at the end of it's shutdown sequence.All in all it works as it should.
