The little device does it work on heating the water in my outdoor bathtub. Easy to use. I was a bit skeptical first about the safety, but I am still alive, works well!

This water heater is nice and small, but can heat up a decent amount of water. We have an oversize tub that our water heater can't quite keep hot water going the whole time while filling so we use this to supplement that. We were talking about getting an on demand water heater just because of the tub not getting fully warm, and this has mostly changed our mind as it is much less expensive than going through the work to install a water heater. The heater works well and is easy to use. We did accidentally drop it while taking it out of the tub, but it still works fine. My only word of caution is to use an appropriate extension cord if you need one, ours gets a little warm to the touch, so you definitely want to monitor it. Overall, this is a great water heater.

I got this as a second heater to use in our Saluspa hot tube for the winter. I put it in and run it for 4 hours along with the hot tubs heater, and it heats the water to a very nice temperature so we can use it in the cold winter months. It does a great job getting the water to a nice hot temp so we can take longer soaks out in the cold. Love the on off switch, it seems well made and so far I'm very impressed with how fast this heats up the water.

I ordered this item because my hot water pipes had frozen up due to recent and unusually cold weather. This immersion water heater worked quickly to heat up water in my bathtub. My only complaint is that the cord is not long enough to reach and I had to use an extension cord. Something else to be aware of is that you are not to touch the water while the heater is submerged. While I wanted it specifically for use in the tub, I think in the future I will limit utilization of this to buckets. I can see this being a staple in my emergency weather kit or for camping. overall, this immersion heater was simple to use, well made, and effective.V

This is not a miracle worker, but it does indeed heat a good amount of water safely. I have a large ice bathtub that I also want to use for warm bath at times .The water in my basement is not fully heated, so I use this to make sure the water is piping hot. I was nervous; thinking that this was going to melt through my bathtub, but it is very well protected and hasn't melted any anything. I feel confident using this product. I also use a heavy duty extension cord to make sure that this product is not a danger.

This is a solid feeling unit. Some of other immersion heaters i have used were flimsy and lightweight. This one is much heavier and feels solid. The cable is of a larger gauge wiring. The on off switch is much nice to have long term than just unplugging everytime.

It works! I ordered this to have on hand for emergencies and for camping trips where electricity is available. In the past, on two separate occasions I've had to boil water to take baths for an extended period of time, when a heating element would go out in the hot water heaters. So when I got the chance to try this, I jumped on it. I'm too old to be hauling water back and forth from the bathroom. Luckily, I have not had to use it, but I did test it out. I put it in the bathtub when the water temperature was about 78 degrees farenheit. It took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get up to 104 degrees. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'm just happy that I shouldn't have to worry about boiling water again for baths.
