I am so far very pleased with the purchase. When I say it was everything it was supposed to be, it came out of the box unblemished. Because of the complaints about tarnishing, I did apply three coats of a high gloss clear acrylic to it before first use, doing so without touching it with my hands. It has now been two months and as you can see, it looks perfect.

I use this and other glass ones I have to mist my air plants. It produces a fine spray and doesn’t leak. It’s shiny brass but I’m expecting it to develop a patina.

Does not work. Bought this fall 2024Someone should pay attention to these reviews thirty days to return /replace ? Should be longeras a few days after this window - we were unable to get it to mist a plant.

Too bad this lovely Copper Stainless Spray Mister is so hard to press. The first few squirts are ok, but if you need to spritz a bunch of succulents or orchids, the fingers get sore quickly.Would love to have one that is easier on the fingers, but haven't been able to find a comfortable copper one.

The spring broke after slightly over a month and now product is unusable. Fine prior to this but does not seem to be very sturdy at all.

So I reluctantly had to buy a second one of these because contrary to what it states, it is not "stainless". In fact, water stains will show up right away and discolor the metal. No amount of baking soda/salt, dish soap, brass polish, fixes it. I would have opted for a glass spritzer except that the ones I wanted have been discontinued. When I initially purchased, I was somehow charged more for copper than brass and when I gently inquired as to why this was, I received an arrogant reply from Sustainable Village saying that they could charge whatever they pleased as more people wanted copper. In other words, entitlement to gouge versus actual value/sturdiness/base cost of brass vs copper. I was stunned at the attitude and determined to get a glass replacement. Sadly both options have now been discontinued.

I love this brass mister! It's so cute, light and mists very well! No leaking issues. I absolutely love it! I use it to mist my orchids several times a day and this has really helped them. Tip: I use only distilled water to water my orchids, and I think this will also help with minimizing the calcium/mineral deposits in this nice brass mister. So the mister is still quite clean inside.
