Your cart is empty.Anyone new to the proline can't believe all that's packed into this controller, & in most cases, the cost is less than "the other guys". give it a try. The proline was engineered to be as user friendly as possible. Easy to install. Easy to program. Powerful features available under the hood. Sure some only set the time, date, run times, & days to water - but you don't. That's why we added many advanced programming features giving you more power. New landscaping needs a grow-in period. Proline can be set to temporarily do this, then return to it's normally scheduled programming.

After testing many irrigation controllers, I have found the best controller for the Las Vegas Valley Water District is the Weathermatic line for the simple reason these controllers can be programmed one time in a set-it-and-forget-it manner. The secret sauce is that the Weathermatic units include a MONTHLY SEASONAL ADJUST feature (a feature that I wish Rachio and other smart controllers would consider). So in our case, we are required to water on:- Mon-Sat from May-Aug;- Mon, Wed, & Fri during Mar-Apr, Sep-Oct; and- Fri during Nov-Feb.On the Weathermatic units, use:- Program A for May-Aug months,- Program B for Mar-Apr, Sep-Oct months, and- Program C for Nov-Feb.Set the days and times to water per usual. Then set the Monthly Seasonal Adjust as follows:- Program A: 100% for May-Aug (0% all other months),- Program B: 100% for Mar-Apr, Sep-Oct (0% all other months),- Program C: 100% for Nov-Feb (0% all other months).That's it, it's set and you don't have to touch it at the change of season. I only wish Rachio would add this manual MONTHLY scheduling feature into their logic. Or, Weathermatic add a good WiFi and phone app feature to their lineup for troubleshooting. Until then, I use both. The Rachio for troubleshooting and the PL800 as the daily driver (both controllers wired to a 5 zone system and a 3-way power switch to the transformers).

Being a licensed irrigator, I’m familiar with virtually all the controllers. This one is easy to use and program. Also has built in fault detection which is a real plus. The price here is the best I have seen.
