The photo for this product has 4 evenly spaced out holes. I was a bit nervous when I received the rail , but it still fits amazingly. Perhaps the seller can update the photo per each model # to reflect the actual product sent. Fast shipping , good quality and came with screws!

Great quality as expected from Weaver. What the information doesn't tell you is that it only works on 1997 and newer model 500's. Mine is a 1996 model and therefore has smaller set screw holes, so I have to order a different one from my local shop as it appears none of the ones on Amazon are for the older models. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

4 star for now until I use it more. Bought for mossberg 500.Simple to install, just remove the top screws then replace with the rail and the supplied screws in hex key. Feels solid, tried out two sights on it, one rifle type one red dot, both were on solid and after shaking the living day lights out of it u till I couldn't stand it the rail remained tight.

This seller shipped it very fast. I put it on a brand new mossberg 500, it hung off the back nearly covering up the safety but was no issue, I trimmed it up about 3 slots and moved it forward a hole and it fits great now. would reccommend.

this item took way too long to get here but that could be because of christmas rush. but the peoduct itself is perfect. it went on with zero problems, it light weight and looks great on my rifle. if you have a mossberg 500 and want to putt a red dot aim point on than this is the way to go

Fits just fine on my Mossberg 500 that was predrilled and tapped. Items is not parkerized so it will look a bit mismatched if yours is not blued. Rear part of rail hangs a bit over the top of the shotgun. Inexpensive and well made.

easy to install, fits perfect, works great....can't expect more or pay less...holds a red dot or holographic sight perfectly, zeroed in no time, stands up to recoil and holds firmly

This rail is super easy to install. It took me less than a minute to throw on my Mossberg 500A. I just mounted optics to it and shot about two hundred rounds yesterday afternoon. It held up perfectly. This might be obvious to some, but with a stock Mossberg 500A, this rail is designed to mount to the top of the receiver only. Do not try to mount this to the forend or anywhere else.
