Using for an AT&T security camera to send pics to my computer. Works in my rural area where 0 to 2 bars in the norm but the conflict between the indoor and outdoor antenna extends way past 35 feet recommended. I had 50' of cable and still had to finagle.Call to the company about a very dim light was answered by "well that's the way they are sometimes". It was actually placed improperly and away from the plastic viewing "window".-1 for the conflict. -1 for the crappy answer.

I have a older (Wilson Electronics) version in our Cabin that works great. I purchased this item to boost the cell phone signal in our offices. Our cell phone coverage with AT&T was great, but they have "improved" their network, and now sometimes we don't even get a signal indoors. The cell phone tower is about 2.5 miles away over flat ground. I elected to go with this system rather than a directional antenna .Received the system and installed the antenna under the eaves pointing at the cell tower. Ran the wires (had to use an extension wire). No signal improvement. Thought maybe it was AT&T having issues, so let it go for awhile. It never improved. Finally de-installed the system and took the amp to my cabin to test it. Connected it to the existing exterior antenna , get all the green lights, but no improvement in cell signal. Put the only one back in and get 25dBm improvement.Unfortunately, the return period was well past the return date. Fortunately, Amazon customer service was very understanding and agreed to refund my full price. My observations of this product are:The antenna's appear to be fairly cheaply made, but they are pretty simple devices.the amp itself always gave me two green lights, (I could make it give me a red feedback indicator by pointing the internal antenna at the external one). No easy way to troubleshoot what the issue was and why it didn't work.I still need one and I think WeBoost is the best system out there, but will be a lot more proactive in testing it as soon as it comes in and return it if it doesn't work correctly.

Bought this for my mom. She has a metal roof and could only get a signal if she was right by a window in her den. Now, she has a signal in every room of the house. While it's not a full signal, it is definitely a major improvement. Very pleased.

Maybe I live too far in the country, but after this my service didn't improve. We still have dropped calls. Our friends and family are frustrated by the awfulness of our cell phone service. So this was really a waste of money.

It's probably not fair that I only give it 4 stars. I live in the river bottoms in East Texas. I'm not even able to get cable where I live. That being said, I wasn't able to get a signal with any window mount or in the yard. I finally had my son get up on the roof and after quite sometime, we finally got the receiver to have 2 green lights and service went to 4 bars on my cellphone (in the house)! Okay, problem is, I had no way to mount it to my roof at this time. What we did do was contact AT&T and go over why our signal went to nothing in this area in the last 3 months. With me working from home now, I HAD TO HAVE MY CELLPHONE WORK IN THE HOUSE!!! So, anyone out there that has AT&T and has recently lost signal, contact them about some clarity call service they put on your phone line. About 2 days after they removed it from our services, my bars went to 4 bars sitting in my living room!!!While I'm sure this product works, it just didn't work out for me.

I live in an area with poor cell phone reception. This has helped with my indoor phone reception, however it only seems to help if I am no more than 20 or 25 feet away from the transmitter. This works for me, but may not be ideal for everyone. Also, the transmitter must be a distance from the outdoor receiver part. It takes some trial and error to get it set up right. I would recommend laying it all out and making sure that it works in that configuration before actually mounting it.

I have one of these Wilson units in my car and it works great by adding a bat or two in remote areas. I just bought this unit for my home office in the lower level of the house to boost the signal. Mounted the antenna easily on the side of the house. It works well and provides a consistent signal.
