I got this because I have read that they help with anxiety. And they do. This blanket has helped my husband a lot in sleeping better. I am not a big fan of it, but that is only because I have spinal issues and cannot sleep the whole night in one spot. However, I am only giving it a four because of its tendency to slide down off the bed because of its weight. That's it, otherwise it washes up extremely well and I have had no issues with it at all. I recommend.

i got this weighted blanket for my youngest grandson when he transitioning from his mom and dads bed to his own bed and it seemed to help alot more than anything else we tried!! he sleeps in his bed through the night now and doesnt wake up wanting his mom or dad to hold him. so i say its perfect!!

The photo of the gray weighted blanket on my bed shows how little it hangs off the sides. It fits the top part where you lay. My bed is really a California king so on a standard California, it’s going to fit closer to just the top of the bed.Its got good weight to it and the fabric feels sturdy enough where I’m not worried it will rip and lose glass beads.Laying under it feels like a hug. It has loops on the edges which I suspect are for a duvet cover so you can tie it in and it wont move around.

The size of this blanket wasn’t enough for a queen sized bed. The material/feel wasn’t the best quality either as I enjoy softer bed sheets that make me feel as though I’m sleeping on a cloud. The dark grey looked really dull too. The heaviness was GREAT! I slept so good using this. It felt like the blanket was hugging me and o knocked out almost instantly. I didn’t have to tuck it anywhere and felt perfectly secure. Someone told me these blankets are great for people with anxiety and I can now agree to this. It did its job perfectly. I just wished it was a softer blanket material.

The weight of the blanket is definitely noticeable when you’re underneath it. I have the king size, which only covers the top of the bed. It isn’t large enough to drape over the sides of the bed. It’s great on top of another spread. I suppose you could put it underneath another spread, but it would be hard to move it around once it’s covered. The blanket does not make me hot, so that’s a big plus.

I do really like this weighted blanket, the weight is just about perfect and it's pretty well distributed. The material is super soft as well.The size was a bit disappointing. It's definitely a queen size blanket, not king. It even says queen on the packaging so I wish they would not label it as such because I don't off the top of my head know the standard size measurements. The description also says it's standard sizing which feels misleading.I also don't think it's very cooling. Because it has batting inside it sleeps on the warmer side. It's not too warm for me, but my partner who is sensitive to overheating finds it to be a little much. I wish it was just a bit more breathable and had less batting. Despite these couple flaws I do actually think the blanket is high quality and most people will enjoy it.
