The product works but the main problem I have is that it doesn’t update instantly it updates your speed every one and a half seconds

This is the one to get. It's bright during the day, accurate when you calibrate it, super simple to setup. Overall I'm very happy with this thing, it does a simple thing but it does it perfectly at least for my miata.

I recently moved from a Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric vehicle to a Nissan Titan pickup and greatly missed the built-in HUD in the Hyundai. I like this HUD (OBD2) a lot so far. I wanted simple speed display, nothing else. I'm using it without the windshield film. The font is large and the auto-brightness seems to be a good balance for daylight and dark. You do see a ghost image because the image reflects off both surfaces (inside and outside) of the windshield, but I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me now. I was bothered by sunlight reflecting off the fairly reflective surface of the HUD in just the right mid-day light, but I just discovered there's a removable peel-off coating on the HUD and it is quite matte (non-reflective) once removed. Finally, I was concerned initially that it didn't match my car speedometer at various speeds. If I adjusted the calibration to match at, say, 70mph, it would be off at 40mph and vice-versa. I discovered my car speedometer is the problem. I installed a GPS-based speedometer app on my phone and drove on the highway in cruise control at 70mph. I calibrated the HUD to that and then it works/matches the GPS speedometer at all speeds. I'm very pleased with it, enough so I may buy a spare in case this doesn't last long and ends up being unavailable if I ever need to replace it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use this HUD died. It was great while it lasted. As far as I can tell, it has no warranty whatsoever, so don't count on it lasting long or getting a free replacement even if it fails within the first year.

Christmas present for my son. He loves it and it works great right out of the box! Maybe 1 mph off at 70 but it may be more accurate than the needle. Who knows? Very visible and super easy to install. Love it!

Very simple device but works very well. Nice and bright without the reflective film on. Easy to install. Plug and go.The only downside is the speed change response is a little bit slow. But it’s very minor for the price.

When I first hooked up this device to my OBD2 port, it was reading speeds incorrectly. For example, when I was going 75 mph, it read 80 instead. It took me a while to understand the Engrish in the manual but it turns out that adjusting menu item 1 can fix this. In my case I changed menu 1 from the default 107 to 102. After that speeds were reading correctly. The item comes with the reflective film that is absolutely essential in reading this in bright sunlight. However, it did not come with instructions for applying the film. I had never done it before so I had to find instructions on the internet. The reflective film is pretty dark from the inside, but you can still see through it, at least during the day. I have not driven at night yet. From the outside of the car, the reflective film appears opaque, which I'm worried will cause some cop to pull me over one day.It also comes with double-sided tape to stick it to the dash. I'm a little miffed that the buttons are on the opposite side from the driver.EDIT: It's been 7 months now so I have some updates: 1) It's a bit too bright at night, but not so bright that it's a problem. You can adjust the brightness but then it won't auto-adjust to daytime brightness 2) It's now become pretty flaky, to the point I'm thinking of trashing it.

It works fine, pretty accurate speed. For the one who complained about the speed accuracy, you have to set it up, which user’s manual shows you how…

UPDATE: A year later, the light sensor stopped working, so the display is permanently set to "night mode", making it too dim to use during the day. Also, there were a few times this thing would suddenly start drawing power from the OBD2 while the car was off, to the point where it would drain the battery significantly. I don't know if it's the heat from being on the dash, or cold from the winter, but either way, this thing did not last and actually became a problem.Okay granted, all I ever wanted from this thing was to show me the speed in KPH on the windshield. But it does indeed do that. By default, it adjusts the speed up a bit -- not sure why -- but once I figured out the Engrish instructions, it was a simple matter to remove the offset. It clearly does dim in the dark, which is great, but it does not get bright enough to be seen at certain times of the day. Honestly, the only real difficulty was finding a spot on the dashboard to put it, and then adjusting the position so as to look fine from the driver's perspective. And in case you're wondering, when using the OBD2 port in my Mazda as its power supply, it only turns on while the car is running.

Everything is good. Effective and accurate. Speed setting can be adjusted for your vehicle. Accurate to 1-2km/h. Wish I could dim at night on dark roads with no road lighting.
