If you have a reverse camera, it makes mounting it easy. You don’t need it but it’s better than the glue. timesaver.

What can you say about a small strip of metal that creates a camera mount?I’ve not mounted a camera to it yet, but It appears to be sturdy and slotted mounting holes allows for vertical adjustment.

What you see is what you get - there's a nice video showing how it goes together and how the pieces line up. Simple implementation - but effective.You can avoid drilling/screwing directly into the car (for the camera piece), although the wire still needs routing. Of course, that may or may not be desirable in your situation. In my situation, I wanted simplicity and this seemed to meet the need with minimal cost. For $8 you have a metal bracket secured to license plate holders and I didn't have to mess as much with making permanent mounting holes in my car.

This camera mount didn’t come with instructions, but the video included in the Amazon listing clearly shows how to use. I mounted behind the license plate without issues. The listing shows the camera centered on the mount. But the product I received actually positions the camera off center (see attached photo). The off-centered positioning doesn’t seem to affect camera functionality in my case, but does look a bit strange.
