Works but main unit loses temp connection in pool after couple hours (50ft) Batteries in both, plug in main. Disappointed spending double what was offered on something that doesn’t work.

The GOOD…The pool sensor and remote display are wonderful.Temp seems very accurate and fast updating.Only want is to have backlight dim at night.The sensor and display are 5+ rating.App, not so much.Speaking of the app. I noticed you MUST have the AC adapter installed to PAIR the display with the app.My fault, I mistakenly assumed I could pair while using batteries only…The BAD…App is absolutely horrible. -2 stars. Otherwise 5 star rating overall.Can’t read menus, tables or charts due to poor color & text choices.Remote display function’s are lacking. Only remote display configuration changes are 12/24 clock setting, C/F setting and background lighting (no auto or night dimming function).

I purchased this pool temperature wifi thermometer through AMZN. It was a bit difficult to set up, but I finally got it. The instructions aren't that great, but if you carefully read them, you can get the device started. Over the last week, it seems to be holding accurate readings. The wifi is fairly strong and the indoor instrument picks up the device from at least 200 feet. In my opinion, this is not a 4 or 5 star product, but it is OK .. so far. Let's see how long it lasts in a hot desert environment floating in a saltwater pool 24/7.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Wouldn’t connect to wifi and wouldn’t show up on app. Piece of garbage. I return within 2 days.

I was initially pleased with this product. It worked as it should but after a couple hours the base unit stopped receiving a signal from the sensor unit in the pool. It's a short distance of 50 feet from the sensor to base. I set up the product again, working fine but again the base and sensor lost connection. The sensor continues to display the temp, but I bought this product to see the information remotely. I'm returning the product.
