Cannot, for the life of me get it to connect to the app. I don’t believe it will actually connect to the app, ever. Checking temperature remotely was the only reason I purchased this.Outright lies. Returning.

If you value your time, sanity & MONEY, don't buy this pool thermometer! I had difficulty getting it to connect to my phone, as it needs a 2.4 GHz, not a 5.0 GHz network to connect, and I didn't see one on my phone. Thus, I called my internet provider to assist me. HUGE mistake to even try! Long story short, the whole process caused ALL of my smart switches, home thermostats, garage cameras & solar panel reporting to go down! It took 2 weeks to get it all back up again & the network doesn't work as well as it used to! The solar panels required a home repair visit that cost me $260!! Hopefully, the internet provider is covering that cost, since it was their repair guy that ultimately caused all the problems. Anyways, needless to say, I returned it & got my credit immediately, thank goodness. I have now purchased a different pool thermometer that doesn't have phone connectivity & it's working perfectly!! YAY!!!

Not sure why all the review hatin on this poor fella. It's working perfectly!Pool temp (high and low), indoor temp, cool light function. No apple app, so only bummer, but hey...I know what the pool temp is at the kitchen sink now! AAA+++

Junk! Would not connect with the app. Base could not read the sensor being in the house, 15 feet away. Returned!

So far so good, after 24 hours!48 hr update. The thermometer and indoor display lost coms today. They've both been in the same spot since the installation. NOT IMPRESSED!

Would not recommend this product if you want it to connect to your phone. As a standing model in the house it does as advertised but the set up process is substandard. Instructions are not helpful. For the price it should be easier and more reliable. When this breaks, and I’m sure based on its reliability so far, I would not repurchase it.
