I am a frequent free people shopper. My closet is filled with their over priced beautiful boho clothing. These were priced near $100 on FP so I decided to take a chance with Amazon I feared the picture shown of the item was a pic taken from FP … too good to be true… $19. Well… they are odd ticks and absolutely gorgeous ! They have a draw string and an elasticized waste but not tight where it cuts into your waist They fit great and I’m so glad I took a chance. I just ordered another pair in pink the pair I got today is the white. EXACTLY LIKE FP !!! And fit is tts

Lace is extremely cheap and cinches around the calf instead of having a loose boho fit like free peoples. Would be good for a costume, but on its own, not worth $20.

I ordered these Women Lace Long Bloomers Pants Elastic Waist Y2k Ruffle Pettipants Slip Cute Pantaloons Pumpkin bloomers to add to my family’s costume collection. My family loves costumes and is always coming up with great reasons to get all fancy and dressed up. You name it, we’ve got it; wigs, hats, boots and swords; doublets and capes, corsets and petticoats, princess gowns and villain robes. Our favorite periods are medieval, Renaissance, and Victorian/Edwardian, and everyone calls us if they need to borrow something for a Great Gatsby or toga or Jane Austen themed party, a kid’s school play, or because they figured we’d have a rubber chicken hanging around (we did!)So I keep an eye out for cool costume pieces; when I saw these, I thought the black bloomers would oook great under a Victorian/Edwardian mourning costume or as part of a witch costume. These bloomers are made from polyester and the wide lace at the hems is machine made. The fabric is lightweight and breathes fairly well; this is nice because all the under layers in Victorian or Edwardian dressing can get a bit warm. The fabric is not stretchy, but there is an elastic waistband. The cut of the bloomers is fairly loose and roomy. They have an elastic waistband and working drawstring; I ordered a size M, and they have plenty of extra room. The drawstring allows you to adjust for your own best fit.The pantaloon cuffs are finished off with bands of wide, black lace. This is two-tiered with a narrower top tier and wider bottom tier. The lace design is attractive and features scalloped designs; the wider bottom band is inspired by point d’esprit lace, but has a mixed pattern of small stars and dots instead of the traditional dots. The lace is attractive and a good quality; inexpensive lace can really bring down the look of vintage styled garments. This lace isn’t pricey, but it looks nice and doesn’t have the shiny or flimsy look of some bargain textiles. At the current price ($19.99) I think these are very nice quality and an excellent bargain for an inexpensive costume piece. I’ve seen lower quality vintage styled undergarments for much higher prices. These can also be worn as pajama pants; they’re very comfortable, and look cute with a camisole or even a tank top or tee. You could probably wear them as pants, too; the fabric is quite lightweight, but not super sheer. These are a nice addition to our motley crew of costume bits and bobs. Life is short; dress up a bit. Sometimes the whole day improves if you put in a gown or hat or crown. These raven black pantaloons have a delightfully macabre, Edgar Allen Poe-ish quality; great for costumes/cosplay, goth styling, or being your own block’s Addams family.

These pants are so soft, airy and comfortable! The best part is they’re identical to Free People’s product at 1/4 the cost. Since FP’s quality has fallen way down and their price tag has gone way up, it’s great to find a hack that updates my wardrobe easily. And if it doesn’t last past the season no harm, it will have served its purpose. However, these pants are quite well made and if you use a laundry bag when you wash them they’ll last awhile.
